I'm sooo excited to announce a leadership training for people who work with Black populations in the space!!!

Applications are OPEN. Seats are LIMITED.

For years, psychedelic research has ignored the lived realities of the communities most impacted by trauma, resilience, and systemic harm. This March, we’re doing something different.

The Psy*che*del*ic Leadership Retreat is a two-day, in-person training in Oakland for practitioners, facilitators, organizers, and healers working with Black populations and Black audiences in psy*che*del*ic spaces.

No recycled theory.
No extractive research.
Just community-rooted leadership, taught by experts who live this work.

2024 was an incredible year for us and 2025 has the potential to be even better. It was largely a year of getting our house in order. We focused less on being in the mix and more on community building at home. We focused less on folks we don’t know and more on our friends. We are thankful for the community that we’ve been able to develop over the years and in 2025 weeks double down on it. I’m so so so thankful for each and every person that I consider a friend, y’all know who y’all are! We’re also thankful to the friends to come! The biggest takeaway for me is TRUST YOUR INTUITION AND LISTEN TO YOUR ANCESTORS! That voice in your head that pops up sometimes … Listen to it! Happy New Year y’all! Let’s get to it!

Last week we pulled up in DC and put on for the psychedelics community! It was amazing to come back to the DMV and see how much things have change and to be here with our community, friends and supporters! The love was unreal, the panels and workshops could not have been more fire and the turn out 20k+ was by far the largest event I’ve ever been a part of! Super salute to @natlcannabisfest and their amazing team for trusting us with the platform and the opportunity to bring the vision to your space. SUPER SALUTE to the Hyphae Team @calling_marijane @belle_rachka @mycozine and my Cuz for your critical role in making this happen (folks it wasn’t fucking easy, they killed!). Super Salute to all of the speakers and teachers who took a weekend out and in a lot of cases traveled to offer your insights and gifts to the space! I promise y’all changed people’s lives by showing them people who look like you have a space in this community too! Shout out to everyone who has been supporting us from the internet and made time to show love in real life! I swear that shit is why I keep doing this work! Salute to the folks who wanted to come but couldn’t , we will see y’all next year! Lastly big shout out to the fam who pulled up @sutton.king @createdby.charlotte @gabi.curandeira @taraaura @tuckyblunt @nina_parks @luna_stower @roman_burns @jasonjortiz @awondrousmind @questtheconduit @donnygalaxy ( fellas please forgive me for not posting photos of you, I was on the panels with you and didn’t take pictures). These events are cool but we use them as an organizing tool to connect, grow, inform and protect our community! Reflecting on the last 12 month we can’t help but to conclude that Hyphae is operating on a divine level. The connections that we have made, the impact that we’ve had and the love that we’ve received is incomprehensible! We want to thank every single person that has supported what we are building. We want to thank every single person who wanted to support but couldn’t. We want to thank each and every person what has shown love through kind words or actions, we see that shit and we appreciate it. Without y’all it would be impossible for us to stand tall and operate on integrity and principles, we would have to go along to get along and uphold the status quo. Y’all have allowed us to be the change we want to see! In 2024 we will continue to push the envelope through culture, media, science, policy and business and we will continue to kick down doors and bring y’all with us. We are cut from a different cloth and we recognize it’s a blessing and a responsibility that we are presented with. We strive to continue to make y’all proud and to do the peoples work in the years to come. Mush love to all of y’all and Happy New Year!

We’ve begun to role out the new lab reports on large photo quality posters with a QR code to the Lab Reports for digital viewing and the full lab report printed on the back.

This time a week ago we made history holding the 3rd annual Oakland Psychedelic Conference!!! 617 tickets sold, 200 tickets given away to the community! It was a movie! The most diverse psychedelic education gathering I’ve ever seen, EPIC! Based upon the hundreds of e-mails, text messages and DM’s that I’ve received y’all are still buzzing too! I want to thank the entire Hyphae Team, without y’all this would be impossible @carstenseefisher , @eyepsychonaut, @dahlia_raankh, @mycozine , @calling_marijane , @sacred.alchemist , @earthling.ems and B. I want to send a special thanks to @mamadelamyco who was anything I needed her to be through this process. I want to thank @irene_antonez_art who held it down with the FIRE artwork and worked hard at the last minute to make sure we had everything we needed. BIG thank you to @davehemp for trusting in me and my vision PERIOD! Thank you to the @source_research_foundation and @yarelix15 for helping to bring sooo many people out who otherwise would have never been able to make it, I don’t think y’all realize the impact you just had on peoples lives and my personal experience! The Second Annual California Psychedelic Conference was a smash! Thank you to all of the volunteers, vendors, and speakers!
