Been too damn hot… Finally getting back to backyard burnin temps! The tree in my front yard decided to drop tons of branches this summer since it was so dry which I’ve cut down for burnin so I have plenty of fuel! by @hyrothepyro

Haven’t converted wood into carbon for a bit… The wood pile is huge so I think it’s time to start taking care of that now that it’s not 10,000 degrees at night! by @hyrothepyro

My navigator @atlaxwashere and I got matching tattoos…

Atlas and I were having a chat at the Tannery one drunken evening and he was showing me his tattoos. He has one on his thigh that I mistook for a compass so I made him the navigator of my ship, Cabra del Fuego… (to be fair - booze plus having this conversation in the dark backyard after sunset doesn’t provide the best view!)

Later, (like, weeks later) he informed me that he did not, in fact, have a compass tattoo. So, we decided the only logical solution was to get matching tattoos - mine on my thigh where I thought his was, haha! by @hyrothepyro

Got a @campsnapcamera in the mail today and decided to take a #backyardfire selfie with @dis_mah_insta for the first photo and I’m not disappointed… The ghost Rogue in the back is *chef’s kiss* as is the low contrast and grain… (the whole gimmick with this camera is it’s essentially a digital version of a disposable point and shoot with no screen so you get what you get and this photos nails that aesthetic! by @hyrothepyro

Yes, I am a pirate, two hundred years too late
The cannons don't thunder, there's nothin' to plunder
I'm an over-40 victim of fate
Arriving too late, arriving too late...
