The past two weeks, brothers of the Eta Zeta chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated have been spending their Tuesday afternoons volunteering at the Oxford animal resource center! Brothers spent time, cleaning out the service vehicles, cleaning the inside of the building, and playing with animals. Thank you to @oxfordarc for the opportunity!

Huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our "Be the Friend Who Checks In" Suicide Prevention Month tabling. 💜🩵

At our tabling, we encouraged students to reach out and check in on someone they may not talk to often because you never know what someone might be going through. Even something as simple as letting someone know you’re thinking about them and that you love them can make a difference. We hope you continue to check in on your friends even after this month ends and make it a practice to be the friend who checks in!
And remember, checking in doesn’t only apply to your friends. Take a moment to check in with yourself, too.

If you or someone you know is struggling with your mental health, experiencing suicidal thoughts, or going through a difficult time, you don’t have to face it alone. Resources are available below.

Today we proudly celebrate two outstanding brothers of the Eta Zeta Chapter whose dedication, perseverance, and commitment have brought them to this incredible milestone.

Congratulations to Kolton McCollum on earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science on the Pre-Chiropractic Track, and Chris Redmond on earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Law Studies with a Minor in Criminal Justice.

After Graduation Bro. McCollum will be furthering his education at Parker University Chiropractor School in Dallas Texas, Bro. Redmond plans to also further his education by attending Law School, but is currently undecided on which one.

Brothers, your hard work, leadership, and determination have left a lasting impact on Eta Zeta. As you step into the next chapter of your journeys, continue to lead with excellence, purpose, and the principles that have guided you this far.

The chapter is proud of all that you have accomplished and excited for all that is ahead.

Eta Zeta made. Omega prepared. Greatness awaits.💜⚡️
