Life gives us both rain and sunshine.

When it rains, remember the warmth of the sun, for no storm can erase the light you have once known🌞🐼

And when the sun returns, remember the lessons of the rain, for it was the storm that taught your roots to grow deeper🪴

Cherish the sunshine, but never resent the rain.

For one teaches us the beauty of being alive, and the other, the strength it takes to remain so.

Cover of John Denver's classic Sunshine On My Shoulders. That's what country music used to be like. Heartfelt poetic classic nostalgic.

A heavy evening, made lighter by the boys who chose to meet harshness with kindness. The heart in this frame is unmissable. 🤍

Just as the sun sets each evening, forgiving all the cruelty it has witnessed through the day, so did these boys with their songs, their warmth, and their hearts wash away all that was unsavory.

And somehow, the evening ended softer than it began🌅
