How late is too late for a 2023 Recap?

This is all my personal cinematography/creative reel from ‘23. Displays of work I’ve shot, gripped, and gaffed myself. All of which was shot on a Sony A7IV and a A6700.

This was a year of growth for me forsure. I’ve been doing film for about 5 years now but this past year was me taking it seriously and letting the creative process do its thing, taking nothing and turning it into art; Voidwalker.

I’ve worked with a lot of talented DPs and cam ops and never thought my camera work would match up to theirs but I’ve come to learn that doesn’t matter in the end. The work I put out is work I can say I’m proud of and that can’t be taken away from me.

Take all the rules throw them away, pick up a camera and just shoot the damn thing. That was all 2023 and the work flow hasn’t changed since 🎥 Let’s keep shooting 🎞️

2025 was an interesting year to say the least. There was plenty of days filled with doubt and uncertainty but the good and the prosperous outweighed the bad at the end of the year and that’s all that matters. I just want to say thank you to everyone who gave me or continued to give me a shot this year in making something happen. There’s a reason I get to hold onto this golden ticket of life and that’s because of everyone who’s taken a chance on me.

How late is too late for 2024 recap??? Jokes aside, last year felt like a proving ground with myself, video/cinematography, coloring, editing, amongst other things. It’s never easy but you can’t expect an easy path with creativity. To everyone who took a chance with me this year, thank you and let’s continue to create more this year. I. AM. VOIDWALKER.
