Muchas gracias, nuestro capitán. @leomessi
Watching your farewell feels like dying inside. Seeing you dribble through defenders made me fall in love with football at a young age. Choosing you as my idol during my childhood was the best and most rewarding decision I have ever made.

My heart broke seeing you after the 2014 final, falling just short of your dream, and the world described your loss as "Football's ultimate prize slipped through Messi's fingers in the final moments of extra time."
But you triumphed in 2022, and everyone who loved you cried out loud: "Eight words we waited a lifetime to say: Lionel Messi is a World Cup Champion!" I still feel that day like it was yesterday, and the commentary echoes in my ears even now: "Lionel Messi has conquered his final peak. Lionel Messi has shaken hands with paradise. The little boy from Rosario, Santa Fe, has just pitched up in heaven. He climbs into a galaxy of his own. Scaloni will be fated, Messi will be sainted."

Now, as a grown man, seeing my idol retire from the pitch feels incredibly heavy. But I am happy that you are getting the farewell you deserve, with every trophy you once dreamed of in your hands, having truly completed football with your "La Zurda de Oro." Even though I won't see you in those Albiceleste stripes anymore, you will always be my captain, and that will never change for the rest of my life. You really are the "Greatest Of All Time". by @i.m_abnnn
