Competed in my second ACO regional and felt much better about how I did. Bags are more broke in but need a little more work and I need some more practice with them. Some great games but had some bad rounds that I couldn’t recover from and lost me some close matchups that I had even been leading. Overall a good experience and shoutout to Clear Creek Cornhole and Magnum Dampier for a great event being held at Board It. Proud to be representing DFB Cornhole and felt really good to be wearing the jersey.

Another ACO regional coming up in a couple weeks and need to get signed up for doubles again to get even more practice and prepare for my first ACO Worlds coming up in just a few weeks and looking to be a part of all the events I can be a part of. by @i_am_mcbeth

Beans are spilt — I’m officially part of the DFB team! Excited to throw alongside such a talented crew, compete, and help grow the game. Let’s go! #DFB #CornholeLife #ThrowingBags #GrowTheGame #TeamDFB #CornholeCommunity #BagsLife by @i_am_mcbeth

So I’m not a big reader of books. I read a lot and do a lot of research but hearing multiple people talk about this serious I decided to dive into getting some reading done... #dungeoncrawlercarl by @i_am_mcbeth

Life has been crazy lately but we went to see beetlejuice at starlight the other night as a birthday present for Jen Kahley Colantino whose birthday was actually today where we went out to dinner with her boys.

Happy birthday babe. by @i_am_mcbeth

Another week of throwing bags and collecting reps. 🎯

Started Monday at Board It, getting paired with Richard after switch rounders and putting together a solid run to 2nd place.

Wednesday was… less solid. 😂 Long day at work followed by a rough night throwing, but I recently saw something that stuck with me: every miss still counts as a rep. And apparently I was committed to getting plenty of reps.

Thursday was the fall KC Corporate Challenge, and after all my coworkers abandoned me, I took advantage of the friends & family rule and recruited Josh — with permission from his boss/wife, of course. We put together a great night and came away with 1st place! Huge thanks to Clear Creek Cornhole for another great event and to Josh’s wife for loaning him out. Of course shout out to DFB Cornhole as well using my debacles to put in the work. One more shoutout to Roundhill Bath and Tennis Club as I rocked their shirt during this event for their annual Cornhole tournament.

Friday was back to Board-It, where Chris Price and I battled our way to the king seat, took our first loss, fought our way back into the championship and ultimately finished 2nd.

Finished the week with some ACO singles near Mooresville with 660 Cornhole. Not the results I wanted, including turning a 13-14 game into a very quick lesson in what happens when you give up 9 in one round. 😬 Threw my DFB Toxic Waste that also still need some breaking in but excited to see what I can do with them. Shoutout to Tristen Sewell for hosting.

Still, another new venue, more reps, more experience and more progress.

Now the focus keeps shifting toward the first ACO Major of the season right here in KC at the end of October.

Plenty of work left to do. Let’s keep throwing. 🔥

Regional day in Kearney! 🔥🌽

Back at it for another ACO Regional — this time throwing doubles with my nephew before jumping into singles.

Got the DFB tent set up and we’re in full representation today. 🔥 Maybe we’ll even convert a few more people to the ACO/DFB side while we’re here. 😂

Really cool venue that Clear Creek Cornhole secured for this one, and looking forward to a full day of throwing bags, talking cornhole and getting some more tournament reps in.

Playing. Representing. Liaisoning whatever needs liaisoned. 😂

Let’s throw some bags.

No tournament last weekend, so it was time to put in some work. 🎯

Got plenty of reps and games in over multiple nights and at a couple different venues. The goal wasn’t just to throw more bags — it was to be more intentional about recognizing what’s working, knowing when something isn’t, and making adjustments before a game gets away from me.

Still plenty to clean up, but that’s what the grind is for.

More work going in this week before a big ACO Regional with a stacked field of really good players. Looking forward to seeing where the work has me when the games count. 🔥

Keep throwing. Keep learning. Keep adjusting.

I’ve had some thoughts lately about the different paths within cornhole, and I think this is worth saying.

It’s probably pretty obvious that my main focus is the ACO. I’m proud to be a big part of DFB, I want to continue developing on the broadcast/commentary side, and I’m hoping to become even more involved with the ACO as a whole. I traveled to several ACO events during my first full season and plan on doing even more this year.

But being invested in the ACO doesn’t mean I’m against the ACL or what they’re doing.

That’s actually one of the things I love about cornhole: there’s room for everybody. Some players compete in both organizations. Some find their home in one or the other. Some are chasing the highest levels of competition, while others just want to throw bags locally with good people. There are great things happening in both.

Last season I only played one ACL event while competing in several ACO events, but this year I plan to be more involved with ACL events locally as well. That’s where a lot of my friends play, where people I’ve helped introduce to the game are finding their own path, and where there are opportunities for me to support the growth of the game in my own community.

I’ve had a lot of people support me, encourage me and help me find my place in cornhole. I want to do the same for others.

ACO is where I’m planting my flag, but cornhole is bigger than any one organization.

I’m excited to support the ACO, DFB, the ACL,BG and, most importantly, the people who make this game what it is. Throw where you want to throw. Support who you want to support. Just keep growing the game. 🎯 by @i_am_mcbeth

First ACO Regional of SZN 22 in the books! 🔥

Only planned on playing singles tonight, but got there early for some much-needed practice and ended up jumping into doubles at the last minute when someone needed a partner.

The record wasn’t pretty — 0-2 in doubles and 0-2 in singles — but there were definitely some positives.

🎯 7.44 PPR in doubles, above my 120-day average
🎯 7.62 PPR in singles
🎯 Opened singles against none other than Python Pat and threw an 8.18 PPR, even leading my brother for a few rounds before his 9.45 reminded me there are levels to this game. 😂

Still plenty to work on, but if this is where we’re starting the season, I’ll take it. Hopefully that arrow keeps pointing up. 📈

Big thanks to VFW Post 7397, Clear Creek Cornhole, and of course DFB Cornhole for supporting the journey. 🔥

🌽 THE ROAD STARTS HERE.

Pat and I have set some pretty big goals for this upcoming ACO season.

We’re planning to hit the road, compete in as many ACO Majors as we can, continue representing and supporting DFB, and see just how far we can take this thing.

But this year, I want to do more than just show up, throw bags, and drive home.

I want to document the journey.

The tournaments. The road trips. The good games. The terrible games. The improvement. The behind-the-scenes stuff. The people we meet. The commentary booth. The ridiculous things that inevitably happen when the McBeth Brothers spend entirely too many weekends traveling around the country together.

Pat may fight me on some of the content ideas. 😂
I’m considering that part of the content.

The goal isn’t to pretend we’re already at the top. The journey toward getting better is the story. We want to see where an entire season of competing, practicing, traveling and putting ourselves out there can take us.

And doing that takes support.

So as we start this season, we’re also looking for people, businesses and potential sponsors who might want to come along for the ride. Whether that’s helping with travel, entry fees, equipment, content, or finding another creative way to work together, we’d love to represent people who believe in what we’re trying to build.

We’re proud to support the American Cornhole Organization, proud to represent Dumpster Fire Bags, and pretty damn excited to see where this road takes us.

🎯 Big goals.
🚗 A lot of miles.
🎥 Probably more cameras than Pat wants.
🍻 Questionable road-trip decisions.
🌽 And a whole lot of cornhole.

We’re documenting all of it.

McBeth Brothers: Road to Worlds starts now.

ACO Worlds is in the books! 🎯

What an incredible week. Huge thanks to my brother for getting me deeper into this game and being my partner through my first season of truly competing. I’ve still got plenty to learn, but I’m proud of the progress I’ve made and excited for what’s ahead.

A big thank you to Dumpster Fire Bags for believing in me this season and welcoming me to the team. I’m proud to represent DFB and can’t wait to keep growing alongside such a great group of people.

Another thank-you to the ACO for giving us the opportunity to join the broadcast team. Calling matches alongside seasoned commentators and hearing so many kind words from viewers was an experience I’ll never forget.

I also want to thank everyone who reached out with birthday wishes while I was away. I wasn’t on FB/IG much because I was soaking in every moment, but every message meant a lot.

From Scouts to soccer, Streetcar Takeover events, and now competitive cornhole, I’ve been fortunate to meet incredible people along the way. This week added a whole new group of friends and memories that I’ll always be grateful for.

Already looking forward to next season. 🔥🎯
