We've all been there.
Someone says something hurtful. A message triggers us. Our emotions take over and before we know it, we've hit "send."

The problem is that anger speaks quickly, but consequences stay longer.
One of the best communication skills you can develop is learning to pause before responding.

A delayed response is often better than a regrettable one.

That honestly shook me.
