🐝 Bee’s Favorite Bookstores

While traveling for work I thought I would hunt down a copy of Threshing Day, and stumbled upon this GEM of a bookstore!

THE BOOK & BARREL not only had ONE extra copy of Threshing Day (kismet I tell you) but it also had amazing bookish gifts, all the new releases I needed AND wine and cocktails!!

What a perfect spot for the book lover in all of us, I left with wine, books AND my next giveaway item- that Edgar Allen Poe Book Purse- so stay tuned if it calls to you!

As I sipped, a gaggle of ladies arrived to play mahjong and if I had more time I may have jumped in!

🐝 BOOKMAIL!

🙏 so many thanks to @wednesdaybooks for this STUNNING box of deluxe editions. @pccastauthor and @kcastauthor changed my brain chemistry with these books when I was younger, the series is one of my favs.

So excited to re-read and put these beauties up on the shelf next to my original (and well read) editions.

Cheers to 20 years of the House of Night series, if you haven’t read it, these editions are on sale September 29th and make gorgeous shelf trophies!

There’s only a few things I love as much as books:

🐝 Stevie Nicks

So, sometimes my hobbies collide. These three books all buzzed to the top of my T-Bee-R when they came out! They scratch the itch of all my favorite things!

🐝 BOOK MAIL!

I am super BEEhind on Bookmail again. Ahhh!
But, when I opened this I couldn’t BEE happier. My favorite show of the 90s was ER. I wouldn’t miss an episode!
Between ER and Scrubs, I’m pretty sure TV is the reason I work in the medical field now.

I’m rambling here-

Last summer I had clicked “request” on NetGalley for RUMOURED by the @the_mancaruso_sisters and ended up finding one of my top 5 reads of the year.

Now, just a year-ish later, I have their next, SCANDAL, in my hands. I’m already hooked and BUZZED to tell all my book besties about it. Stay tuned!

🍯 5/5 Honey Pots- a life supply of 🍯 for this author.

Outstanding.
Entertaining.
Top Tier Writing.

All phrases I have used reading this.
As I teared up last night reading the last few chapters, and sighed heavily as I closed the book... Mr. Bee asked if I was ok?

I love when I can look over at him and tell him I've read a book that will stay with me for a long time. And then he (because he IS one of good ones) will ask me what it's about.

This book gave me chills and often reminded me of tough situations I lived through in my youth, and wish I had books like these to tell me it was alright to push back.

Many thanks to @mollyfaderauthor for writing this- it will be one of my top recommended books for a while!

🍯 4/5 Honey Pots

A great time of a book.
These two main characters are both stunt doubles, had a REALLY bad break and are now forced to work together.

What's the worst that can happen, right?

Great banter, a great plot line and a little mystery- STILL FALLING FOR YOU is a book I'd recommend to those that love rom coms or sports romances.
