Recently retired teacher Carol Pisciotta ’96 dishes out delicious desserts from a school bus she had converted into an ice cream truck (now emblazoned with the words “COOL BUS.”) As owner and operator of @I_C_Dream, she has been serving ice cream and shaved ice (featuring her homemade syrups) since 2019.

Her personal favorite menu item? It’s a treat her mom named “Snow Cream”—shaved ice on the bottom, with a scoop of ice cream on top—which she calls “the best of both worlds.”

And her favorite part of the job? “Putting smiles on people’s faces.”

Truck appreciation post (Bessie):
Anytime I’m in Bessie it’s enjoyable! People eagerly honking, customers following me to events (or dinner😂), people asking for treats at gas stations, grocery stores, etc. it’s never dull. It’s most enjoyable due to customers like you who show up and support my small business-THANK YOU!

She gets compliments all the time and that’s thanks to @shannonbaumsigns , @openroadtrailerservices and @knealtbc for making her look so good.

She stays on the road thanks to the team @autocliniccare in Rockville. taken in Montgomery County, Maryland by @i_c_dream
