I’m a very blessed man! Fresh memories from my wonderful fiance @hello.ritalobo ‘s most recent visit to the Hoosier state! Too many photos to post them all so here are some of my favorites… All the smiles, the laughter, adventures, time spent together, sunflowers, Chicago, lots of coffee, carrot cake, I could go on and on about how I love getting to do life with you baby. 2026 has been good to me so far… got to spend some time with my beautiful girlfriend (not nearly enough time though), built a bitchin Triumph (still gotta finish it, but it’s close), and I bought a house (work in progress, but I’ll have my own garage)! 🙌🏻😁 Feeling beyond grateful for all of the above, but especially @hello.ritalobo . Thank you for putting up with how busy I am all the time and all the encouragement you give me on a daily basis! Wouldn’t be able to do it all without you! ❤️ by @i_hate_mosquitos

Submission from @i_hate_mosquitos I love how so many people get started from dirtbikes. "My uncle Tim saved up enough money to buy a brand new 1972 Yamaha DT100 and finally got it as his main mode of transportation before he got his driver’s license. My dad (who’s the young kid on the back) eventually claimed it for himself when Uncle Tim got his first car. Anyways, Dad used to ride it down to visit his girlfriend and take her for a ride. Well one day my dad and her were out riding and they ran out of gas and they ended up walking it back to her folk’s place and Dad sheepishly asked his girlfriend’s father if he had some gas he could have to get back home. Evidently back in those days, saying you “ran out of gas” was code for finding some place to park and fool around so naturally the girl’s father gave dad some teasing and sent him on his way! Eventually Dad was riding it around the yard when he slid out and sheered the gear shift and foot peg off on a guide wire for a telephone pole. He took it apart to fix it, but never got around to it. It sat like that in the back corner of my grandfather’s garage until his passing. Me being young and not into bikes yet, Dad sold it for dirt cheap at the estate sale which now bums me out because it was the first bike in the family, now lost to time." •••••••••••••• Want to feature your family member from back in the day?
