Discovered a new artist by accident today. Was playing on Snapchat when I saw a post about him dying on Wednesday. I have to say I wasn’t prepared to dig his music simply because of the photo they chose to represent him. He looks like most of today’s retard rappers. But curiosity got the best of me as it often does & I looked him up on YouTube & played the first song that came up. I loved it. Never in my life would I have believed the styles this guy meshed together would flow but they did. The track was hard as fuck. So I threw it on play all night & let him flow. The world lost a good lyricist Wednesday. With it being so easy to get air time these days it’s hard to catch someone with something real to say, or to have their own lane to do so. I always have hated to discover artists after they’ve passed. I had a moment today when a friend & I were talking. I thought the best art comes from pain & struggle. Often times people tend to lose their niche when their life improves. But often times the best of them don’t make it to live very long because of the path their life has taken them, & it’s terribly unfortunate. #RIPLilPeep by @i_hit_switches

This isn’t music. I don’t know who produces these people but this is a perfect example of dumbing down being popularized entirely too much.
