IT’S FINALLY TIME… 🧩✨

This book was not easy to write.

There were moments I questioned whether I should even tell this story, but deep down, I knew this journey wasn’t just for me. Piece by Peace: A Journey of Self-Discovery was born from real healing, real heartbreak, real growth, and learning how to rebuild myself… piece by peace.

This year, I decided to do something different.

Instead of allowing this season to only represent grief and loss, I chose to release something meaningful in honor of my father. Today marks 3 years, that my my dad took his last breath on this side.. June 3rd will mark 3 years since we laid him to rest. While this time of year is not easy, I decided to create something that reflects healing, purpose, resilience, and peace AND a new memory to honor my dad 💙.

This isn’t just a book.
It’s for the woman who has been strong for too long.
The woman carrying silent battles, while still showing up for everyone else.
The woman trying to find herself again, after life has stretched her in ways no one sees.

Too many times we pray about some thing (s) we are dealing with, need an answer to, or want God to do. But then, we try to do it for God.

This one hurts deeply.. 💔Some losses don’t feel real, even when your spirit already knows. 🙏🏽

The past couple of days, I’ve dreaded making this post, because in my mind, I don’t want it to be true. I tried shying away from social media so I didn’t want to see any posts, to further remind me of this painful reality.. But the texts, phone calls and DMs forced me to face the truth.

Our hearts are extremely heavy and broken 💔, as I am still at a loss for words.

Shontay, it’s like I’m waiting on you to say, “I’m just playing with ya’ll”, with your infectious laugh. Your beautiful heart, spirit and smile could light up a room & zoom. You’ve impacted & changed so many lives, both near and far. There’s so much I can say.. I’m just trying to take comfort in knowing you’re no longer suffering, but it doesn’t soften the blow.

Please keep her children, family, loved ones, our TR family and everyone connected to her, lifted in your prayer during this very difficult time.

You’re already missed.. Gone too soon, but never forgotten.

There was a time when I questioned whether I’d ever recognize the woman staring back at me… Not because I wasn’t strong… but because life has a way of testing every part of you.

I’ve learned that healing isn’t loud. Sometimes it looks like choosing peace over proving a point. Sometimes it looks like walking away from what no longer aligns. Sometimes it simply looks like smiling again after surviving seasons you never thought you’d make it through.

This glow isn’t about makeup, clothes, status, or a camera angle.

It’s the confidence that comes from surviving.
The peace that comes from surrendering.
The purpose that comes from trusting God through every pivot.

If you’re in a difficult season, don’t mistake your current chapter for your final destination. God is still writing your story.

Sometimes the hardest thing to do is receive.

Not because you aren’t grateful…
But because you’ve spent so much of your life being the one who pours into everyone else.

This weekend, I was honored multiple times at our company convention, and while I’m deeply grateful for every award received, what touched me most was what they represented.

People.
Growth.
Breakthroughs.
Lives being changed.
Families being impacted.
Women and men deciding not to give up on themselves.

And truthfully… none of this happens alone.

To my team, Thank you! You all know how much I love, value and appreciate each of you.
Thank you for trusting me.
Thank you for believing in the vision.
Thank you for allowing me to walk alongside you as you build, grow, stretch, and evolve. 🤗

These moments may have my name attached to them, but they represent all of us.

I never take lightly the people God entrusts to me. That responsibility means more to me than any title, stage, or recognition ever could.

Every stage walked across carried a story behind it.
The long nights…
The silent battles…
The moments of doubt…
The decision to keep showing up anyway.

And somewhere along the journey, I’m learning that humility and gratitude can coexist with allowing yourself to be celebrated too.

So today, I’m allowing myself to simply say:
I’m proud of the woman I’m becoming.

Not from ego.
From gratitude.

The setbacks. The scars. The seasons that almost broke you.

But what they don’t realize is… God was building something stronger in the breaking.
