Every truck is a team effort, and IAA TRANSPORTATION proved it once again.

Swipe back through the suppliers who made the halls in Hanover worth the walk. @mahle_group, @cumminsinc, @zfgroup.global, SITRAK, Hendrickson, iwis and many more brought the engines, axles, suspensions, chain drives and thermal systems that keep freight moving.

Who stopped by IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026? Pretty much everyone who matters in trucking. 🚛

Some of Germany’s top politicians were here, like Steffen Bilger (Federal Minister for Transport) @steffen.bilger, Olaf Lies (Minister-President of Lower Saxony) @olaf.lies.mp, Belit Onay (Mayor of Hanover) @belitonay, and Gitta Connemann (Federal Commissioner for Small and Midsize Businesses) @gittaconnemann.

Big names from the industry came too, including Karin Rådström (Daimler Truck) @daimlertruck.

And some people move the industry forward in their own way: Tobias Wagner (Elektrotrucker) @elektrotrucker started his trip around the world right here in Hanover, driving an all-electric @mercedesbenztrucks eActros 600. Nearly 28,000 miles, about 30 countries, fewer than 80 charging stops. Safe travels, Tobias!

Emergency vehicles had a real moment at IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026, and a lot of them were electric.

From fire trucks to ambulances to police vehicles, @volkswagen_nutzfahrzeuge, @renaulttruckshq, and @mercedesbenztrucks all showed up with serious first-responder energy. Quiet, zero-emission, and already proving themselves on real calls.

In Lower Saxony and Bremen, the first fully electric emergency physician cars are racking up calls in Rotenburg and Bremerhaven with around 250 kilometers of range and zero issues so far.

And it is not just a German thing: the US and China already run electric police and emergency fleets at scale, France has its own fully electric fire and rescue vehicles out there, and the UK already has some police fleets past twenty percent electric.

The tech works, and the results are in.

Roundup | Tesla Semi from US deliveries to a European prototype.

Tesla has started the latest phase of Semi deliveries in the US, while at IAA Transportation 2026, the company gave us a close look at its European proposition.

The vehicle on display was labelled as a prototype, offering a fascinating look at what Tesla is preparing for the European long-haul market.

The European-spec Semi is listed by Tesla with an estimated 550 km range at 40 tonnes, 1.0 kWh/km energy consumption and up to 800 kW charging, with European customer deliveries scheduled to start in 2027.

There are also clear European-specific changes to look at, from the exterior hardware and camera-based vision system to the way Tesla is approaching charging and fleet operations.

So where does the Semi actually stand in the US today? And what does this prototype tell us about Tesla's ambitions for Europe?

What a time it was. 🚛✨

Looking back at our Drivers' & Family Weekend, filled with laughter, hands-on moments, and the kind of connection that only happens when you take a step back from the everyday.

Families got to see a whole new side of the job, drivers got to just be themselves for a bit, and everyone left with a few new stories to tell. Honestly, we're still smiling about it.

Here's to the people who keep this industry moving, and to the memories made along the way.

Six days. Thank you, Hannover. 🚛

IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026 is over, and we are still thinking about all of it. More than 140,000 visitors joined us in Hannover, alongside 1,589 exhibitors from 46 countries. The trucks, the record 8,500 test drives, the minitruck convoy, the people. A lot of it is hard to put into a caption.

🙏 Thank you to our exhibitors for bringing the future of transport to Hannover. To everyone who took the stage and shared what they know. To the startups and hackathon teams building what comes next. To the drivers, who keep this industry moving every single day, and to their families, who made the final weekend unforgettable.
