In a world full of weave, filters, models and Tik Tok, my sugar dared to be HERSELF.
She has been asking to wear her hair in a Afro since she was like 5 or 6 and I never did it, mainly because I don’t want people touching her hair but I also didn’t want her to stop loving her natural hair.

I’ve always encouraged her to be resilient, unapologetic and bold when it comes to her hair. So today we be both took a step into “Doing our way” and she looks and feels so beautiful. My kid is definitely stepping into her own style and I’m loving every moment💙
