What sent as a typo, really became your reality.

Papa, I’m hurt ngl because imma miss you man. Imma miss the “Yo Papa Call Me” the “Send the church $200” texts, the “Good Job” text after I thought I didn’t do well after a sermon. Imma miss you asking about people I haven’t talked to since highschool. Imma miss you hugging me after I preached and you telling me how you are proud of me. Imma miss your “I went to McDonald’s and I left you a biscuit in the stove” acts of kindness. Man I can go on and on. Thank you for filling in this fatherhood gap for me for the 20 years we spent together. Thank you for making me feel rich even though we weren’t. Thank you for teaching me how to love people when they treat you wrong. Thank you for teaching me how to be humble. Thank you for teaching me how to cut grass and change a hot water heater and install a sink and toilet. Thank you for giving me my first preaching opportunities.

I’m glad you finally got a chance to lay your burden down. You’ve been fighting HARD since 2019, but like every good fighter, they also get tired of fighting and have to lay down the gloves. Well too bad for you because we picking the gloves back up and fighting the rest of the fight for you.

Hope you good up there man. Tell my dad you did all you could for me and that I said you did a good job. You can finally go to a James Brown Concert up there 😂. Tell Eric Mays I said wassup. Even tell Dr. King that CAU Swept Morehouse this year 😂. I love you man. See you later.

If you are able, help the fundraiser out by spreading more awareness on Leukemia. Also donate blood! He was diagnosed in 2019 but thanks to the blood donations he got to live a good 5 years. Your blood could save a life…just how Jesus saved yours.🧡
