Earlier today I was given a video of me and my family at dinner in 2015. During that time my pastor @gadennis1 prophesied that we would have two daughters. 🙌🏾

But between the prophecy and the promise came waiting… prayers… tears… and moments where everything around me said, “it’s not going to happen.” Infertility, money, comparison, and jealousy tried to shake my faith, but I chose to hold on to what God said... even when I couldn’t see how it would come to pass. 🙏🏾

Year after year, I kept believing. I kept working my faith. Because faith isn’t just what you say... it’s how you stand when things don’t look like the promise. ✨

And in God’s perfect timing SEVEN YEARS LATER He fulfilled every word. Not one, but TWO beautiful daughters. 💕💕

“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.” — Hebrews 10:23

If God said it, He will do it. Don’t let go of the promise.

I will forever hold this experience in my heart.

I remember growing up in church, listening to testimonies thinking wow nothing like that has ever happened to me, when am I going to have a testimony. Well boy did I ever!

Never in a million years did I think the love of my life and I would have to go through infertility.... or that it would take seven years to have a our girls.... or that after watching one of my favorite YouTubers @wandamulzac that my husband would agree to it let alone EVER travel OUT OF THE COUNTRY to Barbados @barbadosivf for IVF... yet here I stand!

I say all this to say... I had a plan, but God's plan was better and through the process He gets all the glory.

A little peek into today’s lesson! 🍎 We’re working on the letter D! We pulled out our dot markers for a fun, hands-on way to practice letter recognition and fine motor skills. ✏️

One thing I’m learning on this homeschool journey is that teaching little ones doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. Sometimes the simplest activities make the biggest impact! 🥹🤎

This is just one small part of our homeschool day, but I wanted to share because I know there are other mamas looking for easy, fun ways to make learning exciting at home.

The Holy Spirit placed it on my heart to bring two things I love together and create a space where women could fellowship, grow in their faith, build genuine connections, and simply have FUN!

Since COVID, I feel like isolation has become the norm for so many of us. We work from home, stay in our routines, and sometimes forget how much we truly need community. And I believe one of the enemy’s greatest tricks is convincing us that we’re better off doing life alone.

But God never intended for us to walk this journey by ourselves. We need each other. We need encouragement, laughter, prayer, and genuine fellowship. 🤎

Hebrews 10:24-25 reminds us to encourage one another, stir each other up to love and good works, and not neglect gathering together.

Praise & Pickleball was my small way of putting that scripture into action. And my prayer is that this is only the beginning of something beautiful!

Here’s to more faith, friendship, fellowship, and FUN! Stay tuned because, Lord willing, there’s so much more to come! 🏓✨
