HAPPY HEAVENLY BIRTHDAY DAD ($PORTY)🕊️💔 June 22nd was his official birthday but I was so sad and just couldn’t bring myself to post anything.

I thought about him all day. Watched old videos of him and tried to keep busy. Same with Father’s day. It’s been an emotional roller coaster. 💔😢🎢

I conjured up enough strength to share this piece of a song I made for him. I have to push through it to honor him and carry on his legacy.
I miss him so much I can’t put it into words.

🚶🏽‍♂️Grief is a process 💯

After losing my dad “Sporty” I was devastated. Completely broken! 💔Just not myself for a long time. But, I learned to allow myself to go through the emotions, be patient and I did a lot of introspection. Can’t forget all the prayers and talks with God. Slowly I began to heal. Eventually I became stronger and now I have the strength to speak about it. If I healed so can you!!🙏🏽

Saying “I love you” is so important. This vid is a memory I cherish. Me and my pops (RIP🪦💔) often expressed our love for one another, without hesitation. I loved that about our relationship! Now I listen to this just to hear him say it again.

Saying those three words to another man can feel awkward, but I’ve learned it’s very powerful. To look another person in the eyes and truly mean what you say is priceless. One thing is for sure, I know he meant it when he said it.

TIME TO ELEVATE ⬆️🆙⬆️

I’ve been working on myself daily, to be better than I was the day before. Mentally getting myself where I need to be. I stopped smoking weed and eating candy 2 weeks ago. I’m up walking, running and thinking positive. These are some changes I’ve made recently and I’m loving the way I feel. The goals will become bigger as I go. One step at a time as I climb the ladder. Elevation is a must! 🪜
