STARTING TO DOCUMENT MY INTERIOR DESIGN JOURNEY USING SERIES OF DESIGN APPLICATIONS

I’m starting to document my journey of learning SketchUp and developing my interior design skills.

This is a living room concepts, designed in SketchUp and rendered with the assistance of Artificial intelligence (AI)

I went for a warm, modern open-plan space with a soft neutral palette, a dedicated greenery area, built-in bar/display unit, and layered lighting to create a cozy nighttime atmosphere.

I’m still learning, experimenting, making mistakes and improving with every project. starting to document my journey of learning SketchUp and developing my interior design skills.

Thank you as you follow along😊😊😊

At the time I made this video, the project was still at the door stage. The external doors were made with mahogany wood for better security and longevity, while the internal doors were made with MFC (Egger) board.

It was a really nice experience working with the firm and being part of projects like this. But the corper had other plans too 😂

Before joining the firm, I already had plans to pursue my interior design profession, which was something I had started developing back in school.

So when the opportunity for retention came, I chose not to continue and decided to take the next step towards building my own path in interior design. ☺️#fyp #viralvideos #interiordesign #nyscdiary taken in Lagos, Nigeria by @iam_mmconcept

Honestly, I still can’t believe my service year is over. It feels like just yesterday I was starting this journey, wondering how everything would turn out. Now, here I am, saying goodbye to the khaki, the experiences, the people, and all the memories that came with it.

It wasn’t always easy, but it was definitely worth it. I’m grateful for the lessons, the friendships, the laughter, and every little moment that made this journey special. ❤️

So yes, dem go finally strip this khaki from my neck today 😩😂 but the memories will stay with me forever. taken in Lagos, Nigeria by @iam_mmconcept

Final clearance in a few days. I can’t wait to officially leave the corpers’ league, stop living in the delusion of ₦77k, and face the reality of life with full chest. 😩😂

Progress like this doesn’t happen overnight.

Between NYSC, late-night trips, and project deadlines, this clothing store in Akure has been one of the projects reminding me that consistency always pays off.

From a 3D concept to site execution—we’re getting there, one stage at a time. ✌️✌️

While many people are celebrating Ileya with family and friends, I had to spend mine on client work in Akure because I’ll be resuming back to my PPA work in Lagos on Friday. Balancing responsibilities, deadlines, and personal growth isn’t always easy, but every step is part of the journey I’m building for myself.

The router bit broke, and we had to pause work on some parts of the door while waiting for a replacement.
For a few sections, we improvised and handled them manually just to keep things moving.

Work still progressed ✅
But my hand definitely felt it after 😩

Got involved in the delivery and installation of a six-man workstation.
Nothing major, just another day showing up, doing the work, and learning along the way.
Consistency over everything.

Chronicles of a corp member serving in la

For those of us who never ghosted our PPA for one reason or another, it has never been easy navigating it alongside our personal businesses. You’re constantly juggling, avoiding queries from your PPA while also dodging long explanations to clients.

I’ve come to embrace this phase as part of my growth journey, because without these pressures, I wouldn’t truly learn how to manage responsibility, time, and expectations across every aspect of my life.

Follow along as I work on this conference room design project, located in Ile-Ife, Osun State.
