🗣️There are two types of warm ups! Dynamic warm up and a “Vee Warm 🆙!” One thing I’m gone do is set the energy on fire 🔥⚡️! This group makes it fun and easy 😂! Thank you @uanextvolleyball family for always looking out! It was a pleasure working with some of the best volleyball high school players in the nation. My goal is make sure they never lose sight of the joy this game brings. Volleyball is getting more competitive by the second. And that definitely helps grow the game but sometimes we lose sight. Love being the constant reminder that we gotta have fun. Because the moment we stop having fun is the moment we miss the purpose. This opportunity always brings me so much happiness! To date this was one of my favorite photoshoots because this was the moment I fully embraced my body. Growing up I experienced so much body shaming from others and from myself. People calling me too muscular, too bulky etc. I started to believe those things. I became so over critical about my appearance. Around 26 I entered into this era of boldness. Like, I’ve always been bold but 26 was different. I was bold in confidence. I would do the things that scared me the most. I would keep trying the things I failed at. And I owned every single insecurity I had. I embraced it. I showcased it. I loved it. If I didn’t ... I don’t know where I would be. It’s like the skinny girl who hates being called skinny and actually wants to gain weight but because we are conditioned to believe “you getting skinny” is a term of endearment, people think it’s a compliment. The skinny girl just doesn’t appreciate where she is so she can’t see that as a compliment. Regardless of how it came out someone admired her body. Appreciation for your body will allow you to accept compliments. And I’m accepting all dat. Call me strong, powerful, skinny all that. I just wonder where WE would be if we moved free from the thoughts of others. We are afraid to step out into our destiny because we are afraid of what people will think. That fear is not real. Daily I try to impact my clients with the same mental strength. It is more important for me to transform them mentally than physically. I just want to spread confidence. Because you can change the world if you had nothing but God and confidence. Thank you @caseywithersphoto for giving me this moment. You unleashed the beast! Y’all go head and let @espn body issue know where to find their cover next year😜.
