Trod pulled up to the HQ to shoot content for his new release CAKE 🍰 and FOG pulled up with the archive to give it that indigenous hip-hop / Naija artist vibe, we had PMS Original, FITU, PSYQ, Vans and AF1s in the mix, FOG cutting and styling the fit himself right here at the HQ, all still part of Paris in Lagos movement — Stay Cool. Trod blends Yoruba and English into indigenous hip-hop that feels like home.
A legacy he’s carrying forward — named TROD connected to his late brother, the pioneer DaGrin.

We linked with @horlaroflagos for coffee and a fresh cut at @topzycuthairstudio @topzycut
Real conversation about Nigerian rap, about culture, and about putting our own on.

Today marks 4 years since I released my debut album, GRINFACE. 🖤

A project filled with memories, pain, love, and purpose. Thank you to everyone who has listened, supported, and been part of this journey.

4 years later, and we’re still going. 🙏🏾🖤
