LEGACY seamlessly blends sharp socio-political messages with sensual, club-ready hits on irresistible beats. As a Ghanaian-German singer-songwriter, I explore themes of self-discovery, overcoming toxic influences, and proving one’s worth as a BIPoC in today’s world.
Each track weaves personal experiences with current debates around female empowerment, justice, and decolonization. In a world marked by global unrest, „Legacy“ stands as a work of radical empowerment—a high-energy call to challenge the status quo and to celebrate one’s own freedom using mind, body and soul as means of resistance.

LEGACY verbindet messerscharfe, gesellschaftspolitische Botschaften mit sinnlichen Clubhits auf fesselnden Beats. Als ghanaisch-deutsche Singer-Songwriterin erzähle ich von Selbstfindung, dem Überwinden toxischer Einflüsse und dem Kampf, seinen Wert als BIPoC in der heutigen Welt zu beweisen.
Mit jedem Track verbinden sich persönliche Themen mit aktuellen Debatten um female empowerment, Gerechtigkeit und Dekolonialisierung. Inmitten globaler Unruhen steht „Legacy“ als Werk des Empowerments – ein energiegeladener Aufruf, den Status quo herauszufordern und die eigene Freiheit zu feiern.

US elections wildin’ and Germany’s government is splitting — At the same time wars and conflicts are happening. This world feels very dystopian right now.

But this exactly IS the time to come together. To regain hope - because we still out here. To check on (your) people AND yourself. To tap into your spirituality and show LOVE. Winter’s coming, so let’s keep eachother warm. Call someone you love, get back into your self care routine and remember: most things in life are temporary🖤 We are birthing new visions, new structures - a peaceful world. Don’t let yourself be fooled by money and power games. You have a choice to also become an active member in shaping the world you want to see and leave for the next children. No matter how big or small your impact is - You have a VOICE.

It was a long journey trying to find the right words to say from a political scientist view and to still show of how beautiful, vibrant and resilient we are🖤I love the best of both worlds. And I am so proud of the final artistry I got to showcase on this piece of work.

I can’t wait to present you my full EP project titled LEGACY🤩
This song is called paradise and was born out of an older song dealing with the myth of Lilith 🩸(Adam’s „first wife“. ) She embodied the wild woman, self determination and real Kali energy. Cause she did not want to obey to patriarchy she left paradise!💔

Time went on and I transformed this song - now also depicting the healing journey that comes along with opening your heart again. But having clear boundaries this time around.

Don’t let yourself be controlled by any man.

„Find your Voice“
am 4.5.24 von 11 bis 14 Uhr (online)
in der Workshopreihe Panafrican FLINTA* Circles ein.

In diesem Workshop werden wir uns mit verschiedenen Aspekten der Stimme und des Singens beschäftigen und euch dabei unterstützen, eure eigene Stimme zu entdecken und zu stärken.

Der Workshop soll eine sichere und unterstützende Umgebung bieten, in der ihr euch als FLINTA* of African descent ausdrücken und eure Stimme erkunden könnt. Geleitet wird er von der multigenre Sängerin, Tänzerin, und Violinistin @isawamig (Isabel Wamig).

as part of the Panafrican FLINTA* Circles workshop series.

In this workshop, we will explore various aspects of voice and singing, supporting you in discovering and strengthening your own voice.

The workshop aims to provide a safe and supportive environment where FLINTA* individuals of African descent can express themselves and explore their voices. It will be facilitated by multigenre singer, dancer, and violinist @isawamig (Isabel Wamig).
