God gave me my life, my smile and my destiny back. Don’t you want yours too?!

“Come and listen, all you who fear God and I will tell you what He did for me. For I cried out to Him for help, praising Him as I spoke. If I had not confessed my sin in my heart, the LORD would not have listened. But God did listen! He paid attention to my prayer. PRAISE GOD, who did not ignore my prayer, or withdraw His unfailing love from me.”

MY TESTIMONY on how Jesus saved me from Homosexuality, drugs, sexual defiance, depression, anxiety and a sinful death. For years I identified as gay, living and portraying a character that deep down I knew wasn’t right. A large majority of people who say they’re gay, have endured terrible experiences that resulted in them lacking control in major areas of their lives; so identifying as such becomes the main way to regain control; a false sense of identity protection. The truth is, if God is the same God as yesterday, today and forever, I wouldn’t expect Him to save the same people who commit the same sin He once destroyed a whole city for… And who will be the Abraham of this generation, pleading for His mercy on behalf of the 10 righteous? (Genesis 18:33)

The smoking and drinking became a means of distraction for me, until I realized that I was tired and could go no more. The day I surrendered to God, I heard His voice. I felt His love, comfort and the compelling need to change and so, I did. I surrendered and left everything behind, deciding to seek God. For the FIRST time in my entire life I look forward to living with a purpose. That purpose is JESUS. I didn’t care for control, once I realized I didn’t make myself. And through the power of my creator, all things are possible, ESPECIALLY salvation❤️🙌🏾

My job is not to judge you, as I too, am human just like you. I will however, continue to share the goodness of God. With so many people suffering daily, smiling during the day, soaking their pillows at night..why wouldn’t I want to tell the world about the ONE, the “I AM,” who can dry all tears, bringing joy in the morning? Serve God. He saved my life fr.

So, God proved Himself to be faithful, yet again.

The Rising Star Excellence Award. And I owe all of the glory to God! I am most honored to have been a recipient of such a prestigious award by the CBSS of Coppin State U!

When God first relocated me to Maryland, the idea of going back to school didn’t seem possible and now it’s more than possible, it’s an esteemed reality.

This award means more than a plaque to me, it’s proof that when faith meets resilience, strides are made, goals are accomplished and Eagles rise! 🦅⛓️‍💥
