From the sunny beaches of California to the rocky shores of Vancouver Island comes our Saturday night Curling Club party. We’re celebrating the past, present, and future of the Long Beach sound with an all-star lineup of reggae, punk, and dub.

Jakobs Castle is the musical project of Southern California singer-songwriter Jakob Nowell. Whether it’s performing on the Coachella mainstage with Sublime or a DIY party with Jakobs Castle, Nowell is a rising force to keep an eye on in the modern music industry.

Continuing the theme of southern California music royalty, we’re thrilled to host Long Beach Dub Allstars at Victoria Ska & Reggae Fest for the first time. An all-star reggae lineup wouldn’t be complete without a Caribbean pioneer on the bill, which is why we’re thrilled to welcome Mad Professor to Victoria for the first time! For his Ska and Reggae Fest performance, the dub legend will be joined by Amarra, whose gorgeous vocal delivery will bring some luscious melody to the heavy dub attack. Opening the show, and returning from a brief hiatus, are local favourites Blackwood Kings. Lastly, keeping the dancefloor moving between bands is DJ Roger Rivas.

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY to all the Fathers out there! Most of all, to the Most High God! 🔥🙏🏽🔥

This is a song I wrote for my Dad on his Birthday. It’s called ‘Daddy Lessons’ - A personal message to say, Thank You for all the positive sayings he would teach us. Thought it would be only right to share it with you all on this day the Lord our Father has made.

Music Production by - Jakie Mitoo - Fancy Pants
