I’m nowhere near the finish line, but I’m finding little pockets of joy along the way…and that feels like its own kind of arrival. ✨✨ #grateful by @iamangelhenderson

#Deletedscene from the film Remembering Momma. I so enjoyed this conversation with my scene partner and I believe it’s one that’s necessary to have. Hate that it didn’t make the film, but loved the opportunity to work with all involved! 💫

REMEMBERING MOMMA

While my film REMEMBERING MOMMA continues to make its way through the film festival scene, I wanted to share this scene with you.

This scene is fabulous, but for some technical reasons, it just did not make it into the final cut of the film. But I did/do want to acknowledge the superb work done by actresses NIYA DAVIS and ANGEL L. HENDERSON. Hope you enjoy it!!!

REMEMBERING MOMMA'S next public screening will be in TORONTO, CANADA for the INTERNATIONAL BLACK & DIVERSITY FILM FESTIVAL on July 16th.

You can keep up with this screening and other related activities on both Facebook and Instagram @RememberingMomma.Movie

So grateful to have been invited as an actor for the Women’s Comedy Film Festival through Cinema Life for the fourth year in a row! That’s four years of laughter, scripts, and unforgettable table reads 🎭✨Every year is a blast, every story is brilliant, and every room is filled with powerhouse women.

Can’t wait for the next one 💫

Me and my “mama” @roxzanemims got to do it again! 💕

Grateful for the opportunity to be part of this film and collaborate with such a visionary director. The entire experience was full of creativity, laughter, and moments that just make you feel good inside! From makeup, to wardrobe, to production…everybody was a gem in their own way.

@johnrusselwrites until the next time! 🎬✨

A throwback to 2019…🎥⏱️

Grief has a way of rewriting you. That kind of grief doesn’t ask for closure…it demands reckoning. In Ursula’s case… it turned into vengeance! 🖤🖤

Still one of the heaviest roles I’ve carried.
