You be in the moment. ❤️ I’ll make sure you get to remember it.
The smiles, the little details, the moments you didn’t even realize were happening… someday, those photos will mean more than you can imagine.
You make the memories. I’ll capture them. 📸 taken in Sioux Falls, South Dakota by @iamashleyfischer

New build is finally in motion. Get ready for a lot of posts like this. 😉

One small decision we need to make is doing the garage floors with a poly/epoxy coating. We haven’t decided if we wanted to do this ourselves or have it hired out.

Here’s the dilemma… Brad works on a lot of things in our garage. Fixing vehicles, lawn mowers, recreational vehicles… you name it, he fixes it.

He’s worried that the floor will chip if he leaves things on jack stands for extended periods of time or if some of the chemicals he uses get on the floor.

Does anyone else have a handy guy and have your garage floors done? by @iamashleyfischer

I cried yesterday morning after school drop off.

Not because I had to drop my daughter off instead of her brother taking her. (Let’s all be honest for a second… school drop off is the worst!)

I actually cried HAPPY TEARS, and here’s why…

That beautiful sun rise.

The ability to change my morning just slightly to be who my daughter needed me to be… a taxi (instead of getting on the bus at 6:50am).

A super sweet text from my former manager after doing a presentation a previous employer.

The ability to come home and then know that my 16yo son, who was battling a high fever, didn’t have to worry about his mom choosing to go to the office vs staying to work from home. (I’m just always there!)

Notification that our new build was getting staked out the next day. (Hallelujah!)

But overall… I cried those happy tears because I was SO GRATEFUL for this life and the people I’ve surrounded myself with. From my family, to my friends, my coworkers and our community. There’s something special about when you see the beauty in everything, no matter how hard it might be. by @iamashleyfischer

I never danced. But just because I didn’t dance doesn’t mean I can’t find the absolute beauty in what these girls put on the floor. Congrats @bvdanceteam ! taken in Brandon Valley High School by @iamashleyfischer

I feel like I’m still on the NFTYDoor Summit high. I absolutely love my remote job. (The commute is fantastic! 😂) There is no shortage of collaboration amongst the team so it truly doesn’t feel remote most days.

But there is something magical about all getting together in-person. Shaking hands, speaking face-to-face, sharing a meal and even a few hugs. 🥰

I’m forever grateful for the opportunity to lead our training department with the most incredible group of people. And for the opportunity to visit the coolest places. Manhattan at sunset from the 64th floor is breathtaking. by @iamashleyfischer

Almost 10 years behind the camera. 📸

I started as a mom with a camera on the sidelines for my own kid quickly became something so much bigger.

I started photographing many of these kids when they were in elementary school. Then middle school. And now they’re sophomores. 🥹

Going back through these old photos today has me in ALL the feels. What started as a hobby almost 10 years ago has become one of my favorite parts of life.

So here’s a little throwback of some of the kids I’ve been lucky enough to photograph along the way. ❤️🖤 by @iamashleyfischer
