This collection maps the psychological friction of the shadow self, visually charting the deep, hidden anger born from an unfulfilled lust for power. Through a bold silhouette and heavy influence from figures that traditionally embody absolute authorityā€”such as European nobility and military officersā€”the garments manifest an effort to appropriate a status the wearer does not possess, yet feels entitled to. Subverting classical codes of authoritative dress, the collection utilizes trapunto embroidery to raise subtle motifs across the panels, acting as a physical embodiment of a hidden desire for prominence.
