We’ve been dance music fans our entire lives.

So we’re really excited to be heading to ADE this year as part of The Chorus, their programme for mentoring and supporting the next generation of music technology startups.

If you’re in Amsterdam, come say hello.

Here’s a completely accurate rendition of what it’ll be like as we take on Amsterdam.

@amsterdamdanceevent Humorous edited image of two smiling men with oversized heads, wearing black ADE t-shirts and headphones, pointing upward as they DJ at Pioneer decks on a canal stage in Amsterdam. A large ADE 2026 banner hangs behind them, yellow confetti fills the air, and a crowd holds up phones in the foreground. taken in Felix Meritis by @iambluetyler

First — save this post so you can come back when your mix sounds clean... but still doesn’t feel finished.

1. ADPTR Metric AB
You’re not always mixing wrong, you’re just mixing without a reference.
This plugin shows how your track compares to real records: loudness, tone, stereo image, dynamics.

2. Sonurastudio.com (@sonurastudio)
Make weird sounds. Bones dropping on the floor. A crying kitten. A Gregorian chant.

3. Mastering The Mix Levels
A smart checklist for your mix.
It flags hidden mono issues, peak problems, tonal imbalance, and energy flow across your track.
Use it before export and skip the “why does this sound weird on my phone?” moment.

4. Panflow by Audiomodern (Free)
When your mix feels static or robotic, it’s usually a movement problem.
Panflow automates stereo motion for pads, textures, and shakers without adding new layers. Just a little motion makes your mix feel alive.

5. Little Clipper by Boz Digital
You don’t need more limiting…you need smarter clipping.

This lets you control how transients hit the ceiling without killing punch.

It’s how you get loud without sounding crushed.

———

Save this list. These plugins will help your track translate.

We linked up at the Halley in London and cut this drill beat straight from the plugin. Should it stay in the vault, or does it come out?

Download Sonura Flow and get to work. Link in bio.

getting tracks out of the DAW and onto a proper system takes a bit more than just a good loop. between fixing an uncooperative mix, handling promo runs, and making sure your demos don’t get buried in an inbox, the workflow can get messy.

here are 5 tools worth checking out to clean up your studio process and actually get your music heard.

@sonurastudio – original sound design on demand to defeat project block.

@uheplugins Diva – the undisputed king for timeless, heavy analog hardware emulation.

@techmehomechannel – elite promo distribution landing your tracks directly with A-list residents.

@oeksound soothe3 – the new benchmark for dynamic resonance suppression, featuring a rebuilt engine for cleaner low-end.

@presk.it – razor-sharp digital EPKs built to get label A&Rs to actually hit play.

save this for your next studio session.

Bold yellow and white overlay text at the top reads "5 tools house & techno producers need," with a small prompt at the bottom saying "SWIPE THROUGH FOR MORE." This guide outlines essential software alternatives for electronic music creators looking to upgrade their studio workflow beyond basic stock plugins. by @iambluetyler
