10 years ago I picked up a “hobby” that I loved so much it was all I wanted to do.
10 years later I won’t even call this a job, it’s a dream. And I’m beyond thankful that it continues to bring me moments like these. 🎧💫

A couple years ago, I never would’ve imagined Latin-Afro Fusion finding a home on Broadway. Let alone thriving the way it has. In fact when I first moved here I was under the impression I’d have to fully compromise the taste I had as a DJ and commit to being a “Country Guy”. Turns out I couldn’t have been more wrong.

Somewhere along the way I dug my feet in and committed to what I felt I was capable of creating. I was even willing to be proven wrong.
But y’all kept showing up. Slowly but surely the numbers grew and WE built something pretty special. Something I’m damn proud of.

Finding creative ways to bounce from Bad Bunny to Hip Hop right back to absolute Reggaeton Classics while sprinkling in some of my favorite Amapiano joints has genuinely been some of the most fun I’ve ever had as a DJ.

Y’all have been asking for this vibe to come back and I appreciate everyone who’s been patient while I found the right home for “my sound”.

Very few times do you meet people and click almost immediately.. But apparently you were able to do that with everybody.. Which just speaks so much to the person you were.

Yesterday hit me like a truck and I’m so sad our coffee walks will be no longer. But I feel so lucky to have known you in the short time you were here in Nashville.

Saturday in Portland I was having a conversation about you in the green room before the event started. Talking moments and sharing stories.
At the end of the night I was basically harassed by a guest 3 separate times for a song request. Playing a Latin/Afro/Hip-Hop event the song didn’t fit and I also NEVER play it. Last song of the night something in me said “fuck it. Let it fly”
Turns out it was you the whole time..

I’ll always appreciate how whenever I’d get on a negative tangent or say something negative about myself you’d INSTANTLY make me reframe it. “Don’t say that about yourself”

I’ll miss all of our conversations around growth & wellness. Sending podcasts, motivational quotes, and “what the bigger picture was” for us outside of just being DJs. Helping people was always the goal. Getting there was our conversations.
I still have our tickets to the seminar and you can bet I’m gonna drag some of our friends.

I’ll miss the “Never drinking again” text followed by a “Barstool?” text 4hrs later and all of the other ridiculous one liners you had stacked up.

The duality of man you were 😂

Filled with a lot of frustration for being horrible about taking selfies and pictures in general with my people. Will be changing that and it sounds like I’m not the only one.

Portland… THAT WAS DIFFERENT

If you would’ve told me 13 years ago that I’d eventually be getting booked to play across the country to DJ I would’ve believed you…
Not because I thought I was good enough, I just believed that eventually if I worked hard enough I would be.

This “lil music thing” has now taken me to over 25 different cities, has introduced me to some of the best people I’ve ever met and has also somehow managed to not only pay all my bills but provide a lifestyle that allows me to breathe.

Life has thrown me some real perspective shifting moments this year and if there’s anything I’ve gotten out of it, it’s gratitude.

Grateful that y’all give af enough to spend your money to come see me.
Grateful that y’all enjoy this enough to post videos, share posts, tell others.
Grateful that every time I thought about quitting “let’s give it one more shot” was enough.
Grateful that the support system I have exists in the capacity it does.

After months of wondering if I was ready for a companion again, I finally let myself take the chance..

A 10 month old, 15lb Maine Coon kitten definitely wasn’t on my bingo card but I’m not complaining. 😅
NHA described him as a “spicy” with a bite on his record but my gut said let’s meet him. Turns out he’s just a big ole lovebug that just wanted a home and some love.
