this year of the snek ripped me apart, but i think the little stuttering, shy stoop girl would be really bewildered at all she does now— much gratitude to everyone i got to jam with, play music for & unleash my silly self around. here’s to the year of that horse, y’all— but most importantly here’s to focusing on what the most high is calling me to create 🖤🥁⚡️

thankful to have been apart of this project w these talented humans. @jasmine_q & @saysomethingproductions captured the very depth of what this game means to me & I’m sure a lot of others who love the game.

It’s that one thing relieves the emotion no matter which extreme it is. It’s the discipline & maturity to show up everyday bc of the honor it is to step into the highest version of you. It’s bc of that gut feeling that won’t go away— the voice in your head that gets you out of bed each morning even when darkness is still present— and I’m not talking about the dusk, but like the sun, we still rise.

It’s the breathe of fresh air when reality feels like too much— bc when life is in flow, we play— when life is its ebbs, we still play. It’s in all of these moments we remember what we’re truly made of.

my sweet Zeke— he carried me until he could not anymore. then i got to carry him as he made me strong. it was an honor. my greatest, sweetest teacher.

somehow this game crept back in to enforce form to my discipline— this body has carried me through a lot, and now i get to treat it like the teammate it’s always been 🤝🏽🏀

tbh stoked to see how my body adapts to playing competitively again — learning the balance w recovery & proper fueling is the token this time

it’s been about two years w the BobieWan— he’s brought a lot more life out of Papa Zeke & most importantly taught me more than I ever could’ve asked for. even the art of letting go of my og marley exodus record copy he chewed to shreds haha

i remember the night before knowing he existed, i was shooting the chits w an old lady at the lake, we were talking about dogs & i randomly said “i’d love to have a real neat looking black dog”.. i forget the rest of what i said, but the next day i received the last photo in this slide from one of my best friends @mary_trimble — the derpiest lookin’ boy, i instantly knew he was mine. though the road wasn’t easy when he was a pup pup, he’s grown into the most loyal & intelligent breed i have ever had to honor of raising. he’s the BO to my arrow in this wild matrix ride.
