I just realised I released my first sample pack 10 years ago 🫡 with no expectations or plan. I was working cash in hand jobs and DJing in pubs and clubs. I drank every day and felt I’d missed my opportunity for a career in music. The sample industry looked very different - no Splice, very few artists putting their names to their packs, and no public info on how any of it worked.

Thanks to Loopmasters for that first opportunity and all the partners, brands, and sample OGs that gave advice over the years and saw the drive I had to build something real even when I was just winging it 🤫

We built and sold companies, created globally recognised brands and paid a lot of musicians a lot of well deserved royalties. Proud of that. To the next 10 years, anyone that knows me knows I can’t and won’t stop and I am nowhere near done 🚀 by @iamcapsun

always moving forward, regardless of if I feel like it or not. staying focused whilst trying to enjoy the moments is a weird road to guilt. still alive, still safe, still lucky. need to make more music. forward, upwards, etc. by @iamcapsun
