Humbled, still in disbelief, and thanking God for His many blessings!
I am honored to introduce myself as Miss Georgia’s Teen 2024, Carrington Manous. My Community Service Initiative is Carrington Cares #DecodeDyslexia.
First, I want to express my gratitude to everyone who helped make this dream a reality.
Thank you to our amazing judges who spent the entire week with us. I’m so grateful you all saw my heart and entrusted me with the title of Miss Georgia’s Teen 2024. I am forever honored!

To my coaches: @billalverson , @lucelaniasierra , Mr. Thomas, @lustramillerconsulting , @randallksmith , @kvstyle , @ashleawyzard , Mr. Stephan, and @coachkelc —thank you for shaping me, strengthening my voice, and ensuring I walked on the Miss Georgia Teen stage confidently and authentically as Carrington. You all have my heart forever.

To my Cobb Board family, Audrey, and your family—thank you for pouring into me and pushing me out of my comfort zone to be the best version of myself. Serving the Cobb County community has been the honor of my life, and I am forever grateful!

Thank you to my mom, dad, bonus dad, and my entire village for loving and encouraging me to pursue my dream and supporting me every step of the way. It is because of you that I have achieved so much, and I will continue to do amazing things in my life.

Tara and Charlie, thank you for showing me what it looks like to wear the title of Miss Georgia’s Teen with grace and to lead with service. Charlie, I have some big shoes to fill, and I hope to carry the torch with the same passion and commitment as you did. I love you both!

Georgia, it’s time to get to work, and I am fully committed to serving our great state with everything I have in me. 🫶🏽💗

Getting to teach my own choreography and work with such hardworking dancers was such a joy! Thank you for allowing me to come back home @wadanceensemble, @gould4066, and @charrayh! I loved every minute of it and can’t wait to hopefully do it again! 🥹♥️ by @iamcarringtonelan
