LOCKING ARMS - PARTNERSHIP & COLLABORATION 🤍

There may be a space in this next chapter where you find yourself locking arms and coming into agreement with people you never imagined you would.

But it will be by the will of the Father.

Be mindful of who you connect yourself to, because the people around you in this season won’t just be there for kicks. You will need people who know how to push well so that you can birth well.

People who can see something in you and help you push it out with excellence.

People who know how to pray with you and pray for you.

People who can get a prayer through, backed by Scripture, because His Word cannot return void.

People who will literally lock arms with you and say, “We’re going to pray this thing through.”

Because the contractions will come.

The pressure will come.

The moments of doubt, discomfort, and stretching will come.

But the right people will keep pressing with you until what God placed on the inside of you is earth-side and breathing, just as the Father said. 🥹🔥

This is why discernment matters.

Who are you locking arms with?

Who has permission to stand beside you while you push?

Who can pray when you’re too tired to pray?

Who can remind you of what God said when the pressure makes you forget?

And just as importantly…

Who are YOU willing to lock arms with and help birth what God placed inside of them?

This next space in your life is truly dependent on you knowing how to follow well.

While things will come up that can detour you if you let it, your focus will either get you to your destination on time or have you rerouting and out of place wanting to do it your way.

Stay sober in your sight, hearing and ability to stay focused.

When the lord gave me this, first thing that came to mind was “Can these dry bones live?” In Ezekiel 37…

How many dead armies are lying around just from lost hope, feeling forgotten or just cut off from lack of flow/movement ?!

There are something’s that the lord is literally breathing the breath of life back into that you questioned if it was still possible, lord do you remember what you said? How will you do it ?

New vision
New songs
Babies from wombs that were proclaimed infertile
Fresh partnerships and collaborations on business ideas
New designs
New blueprint instructions on things that have sat with no movement…

He’s breathing new life into …

But in the same way the lord told him to prophesy to the bones is the same way we are going to have to put action to the instruction he is giving to us.

May we obey him with a fresh obedient yes with action 🙌🏻

THANK YOU 🫶🏻

While thank you doesn’t seem like an adequate word for how you all showed love to me on my birthday, I am so so grateful.

This song has literally been with me for a few days and it’s truly the sentiments of my heart.

I am forever grateful for his faithfulness.

Praying for deeper boldness as I walk in faith and obedience with action and no fear. I’ve journaled enough, over planned, heard enough and now it’s time to just walk it out.

I will bow.

We cry, Holy.

Bowing down from my will.
My desires.
How I thought things would play out.
How I wanted things to play out.
What I thought I knew.
Comparison.
The what ifs.
The need to understand it all before obeying.

I’m laying it all down.

Not just to surrender what I want, but to receive the instructions for now as a prepared woman.

Because sometimes preparation looks less like doing more and more like bowing lower.

There was a time when my parents would sit me in front of a mirror and have me speak kind words over myself.

As a little girl who struggled to love what she saw, I never imagined I’d become someone who enjoys looking in the mirror.

Some people see vanity.

They don’t know the girl who used to avoid her reflection.
The girl who cringed at what she saw.
The girl who spent years chasing love, validation, and acceptance from people who couldn’t give her what she truly needed.

Now, every glance in the mirror is a reminder of healing.

I’m learning to love the woman God has and is forming, more and more each day. All because I’m finally seeing myself through a different lens.

I’ve stopped waiting for others to teach me my worth.

I’m setting the standard for how I will be loved, honored, and spoken to by first doing it for myself.

Healing changes the way you see yourself.

My prayer for you is that your perspective would shift. That you would stop seeing yourself through the opinions of others and begin to see yourself through the eyes of the One who created you.

May the Great Restorer restore the way you see the beauty within you.

And may you finally embrace all the glory of who He’s created you to be. 🤍

From a courthouse wedding with two kids who didn’t really know what marriage would require… to 10 years later, raising our family with two big kids and a precious 3-month-old.

Y’all probably feel like I sound like a broken record, but when I say faithful God, I mean it. He has truly rescued my life. His grace has covered us. His mercy has sustained us. His faithfulness has been the thread woven through every chapter of our marriage.

10 years down, and by God’s grace, forever to go.

My life is messy!!

There’s a couple thing’s I am pondering with this morning that have me so emotional in a good way.

I remember years ago, I knew I was supposed to begin sharing digitally but I just couldn’t figure out how it would all fit into one (page) and my mentor said Charnita it will work but I wasn’t convinced…

I wanted to be able to compartmentalize it, so it made sense for me and didn’t look messy for people ..

But what if the purpose is for people to see the messy parts of you as you grow in God that it may lead them closer to the father.

A lot of times we see people growing in the midst of mess and condemning because of the looks but as the church we say come as you are but not really ready for the filth we ask for.

So I say to you … so what if everything around you right now looks messy, so what if it doesn’t fit into the box that you’ve tried to place yourself in, so what if your obedience looks a little messy right now….

Right now you maybe in the midst of learning how to be shiftable, teachable but also obedient in the messy parts.

Sn: Obedience will also have you out here wearing colors you wouldn’t normally wear lol

Motherhood and purpose were never meant to compete with one another.

Some days, your children will need more of you. Other days, you’ll have more room to build, create, and pursue the vision God placed in your heart.

That’s the beauty of living in different seasons.

Two things can be true at the same time:
✨ You can be fully devoted to stewarding your home and your children.
✨ You can also faithfully cultivate the gifts, business, ministry, or dream God has entrusted to your hands.

The Proverbs 31 woman wasn’t only known for how she stewarded those in her home but also how she handled business but also by how she made her husband known at the city gates. She understood the importance of stewardship in every area of her life.

The Bible says her deeds shall declare her praise … as you go forth in obedience with what you have, your efforts will announce you before your mouth gets a chance.

Ask God for wisdom to know what needs your “yes” today, and give yourself grace when that sequence changes.

Being a mom doesn’t disqualify you from purpose.

You were called to faithfully steward both. 🤍
