This past weekend @thechangechurch Over 1,500 brothers started this journey. Only 500 crossed the finish line. By God’s grace, I’m one of them. 🙌🏾 I got pinned as a MadeMan on Sunday 💪🏾🙏🏾

For 12 weeks straight, rain or shine, we showed up. We grew in faith. We sharpened our character. We held each other accountable. And we each gave back 20+ hours to the community, proving manhood isn’t just a conversation… it’s a commitment & calling.

This wasn’t just a program. This was iron sharpening iron. This was a movement. This was the making of men who lead with faith, integrity, and purpose. We committed to becoming Spiritually Strong, Emotionally Healthy, Relationally Responsible, Financially Free, and Physically Conscious…fueling us to love God, lead our families, serve our church, and change our world.

All honor to God, to PD @dhariusdaniels to my coach Will Johnson @askwillj our facilitators, and to every brother I locked arms with from day one. We started together, and though this chapter ends, the story’s just beginning.

Because males are born. Men are MADE.

Happy Birthday to the woman who made sure I lived long enough to figure out she was right about everything.
You gave me grace when I deserved grounding, patience when I gave you problems, and love when I didn’t know how to receive it.
Thank you for being the safe place I took for granted, the voice I rolled my eyes at, and the heart that kept giving even when mine couldn’t.

Your compassion isn’t soft—it’s strong. Your care isn’t just warm—it’s war-ready. And your love? It’s the kind that makes grown folks cry when they finally understand it.

I didn’t always get it. I didn’t always say it. But today, I’m loud with my gratitude: Thank you, Momma. For ALL the things.

✨Baltimore Blessings✨

Attending the 2024 PAW Summer Convention in Baltimore, Maryland was a journey of faith and resilience. Despite the rough start and the #microsoft #outage and global glitch that shook things up (no just for me but for many), God’s goodness shone through. 🌟 There was a profound spiritual shift that Impacted every facet of my being.

It’s been 15 years since setting foot back after moving from Baltimore. Reconnecting with Saints I hadn’t seen since before the pandemic and forging new transformative connections was nothing short of a blessing. These moments of fellowship were deeply impactful, reminding me of the strength and unity in our community. 🙌🏾

As an Elder in the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc, I felt the Holy Ghost moving powerfully throughout every facet of the convention, and feel a great sense of gratitude being a member of such a dynamic organizational body. The instruction I received, the empowerment I felt, and the inspiration that ignited within me will propel me forward in my ministry with renewed zeal and purpose.

So no matter what, let’s flip the switch on any glitch we encounter in life. Let’s resolve in our hearts to keep pushing forward in faith, unwaveringly committed to our eternal calling. Philippians 3:13-14; Hebrews 12:1-2; Galatians 6:9. Together, we make a difference. Together, we are stronger. Together we are GREATER 🗣️🕊️⛪️ 🌍🙏🏾

Today, on this extra day (02/29/2024) granted to us in a leap year, let’s pause and reflect on the journey we’ve embarked on since the last leap year. A journey that led us into an unprecedented time, a global challenge that tested our strength, faith, and resilience. 🌍✨

Four years ago, (2020) we entered a period no one could have predicted, but today stands as a testament to our perseverance. As David proclaimed, ‘By thee, I have run through a troop; and by my God, I have leaped over a wall,’ we too have faced our walls, our giants, our seemingly insurmountable challenges. Yet, here we are, equipped, empowered, and enabled more than ever to leap over them. 🏃🏾‍♂️🧗🏽‍♂️

This extra day is not just another 24 hours. It’s a divine gift, a symbol of grace and opportunity. An opportunity to leap into this year with faith, declaring it as our best year ever. Whatever walls have risen in the past four years, know that God has already equipped and empowered us to overcome them. This leap year, let’s leap over obstacles with faith, and embrace the abundance and victories ahead. 💪🏾🙏🏾
