Hey, I’m Cassy 💗 If you’ve been following me for a while, you know pieces of my story… but you may not know how much CONTENT changed my life. I didn’t start creating content because I wanted to be a content creator. I started because I was trying to survive. I had two kids by 18, dropped out of school, bounced from temp job to temp job, and eventually found myself living with my sister with my two kids while she had four kids of her own. When I started crafting, I just wanted another stream of income and something that made me feel like ME again. But I quickly learned: people can’t buy what they don’t know exists. So I started creating content. That content helped me grow my craft business. And when life hit again and my kids and I were evicted, I pivoted. I took what I knew, turned it into a digital business, and started teaching other people. Years later, I’ve helped over 100,000 crafters—and now I’m teaching ALL creators how to turn their skills into income using content. And that’s why I’m so passionate about this. You don’t need the newest phone. You don’t need fancy equipment. You don’t need the perfect aesthetic. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just have to START. Baby, when I tell y’all WE HAD A TIME TODAY! 😭🔥 We officially kicked off our very first Content for Creators Meetup in Atlanta and we did NOT come to play! We went from planning ➡️ batching ➡️ recording ➡️ editing ➡️ to actually POSTING content before we left. And I’m talking REAL hands-on content creation. Tripods came OUT. 😂📱 We learned how to record B-roll, create voiceovers, film talking-head videos, find different camera angles, batch content and actually put together content that’s ready to POST. But one of my favorite parts? Being in a room full of other content creators. 🥹 We networked. We mingled. We helped each other. We recorded each other. And everybody got to CREATE instead of just sitting around taking notes about creating. For my very FIRST in-person class since pivoting into content… baby, THIS confirmed everything for me. 🥹🔥 And I cannot WAIT for y’all to see what my students created today! BABY, MOVE THAT CAMERA! 😂 Your content ain’t boring… you just keep giving us the SAME SHOT! Same spot. Same scenery. Same angle. Camera sitting in the same place the whole video. Girl, give us SOMETHING! 😂 In Episode 3, I’m showing you how to make your content more interesting using what I call my 4-Part Filming Formula: Scene → Shot → Angle → Transition. 📍 SCENE: Where are we? Bedroom? Kitchen? Office? Car? Give us some scenery! 🎥 SHOT: How much of the scene are we seeing? Wide, close-up, or POV. 📐 ANGLE: Where is the camera positioned? Front, back, left, right, top, or bottom. Same shot, DIFFERENT angle. Move that camera! 😂 ➡️ TRANSITION: How are you taking me into the NEXT scene? Walk out the frame. Open the door. Sit down. Close the laptop. Cover the camera. TAKE ME SOMEWHERE! And please hear me when I say this: You do NOT have to change scenes every five seconds. If we’re in the bedroom, stay in the bedroom! Get 3–5 different shots. Switch your angles. Get your wide shot, close-up, POV. THEN transition us to the next scene. See the difference?! Because learning how to film content as a beginner isn’t just about hitting record. I’m teaching you how to film B-roll, different camera shots, camera angles, transitions, scenery, iPhone content creation, and how to make your content more interesting to WATCH.
