I’LL NEVER FORGET THIS MOMENT… I signed my retirement papers. Slid down that firehouse pole one last time. Sat inside the truck one last time. Then looked into the camera and said: “I’m going to be a millionaire. I don’t know when or how—but I’m going to listen to God, follow His voice, and trust the vision He gave me.” At the time, I had no proof. No guarantees. Just faith. I walked away from a career paying me over $100,000 a year because the voice inside me kept saying: “More is coming. Better is coming. Trust Me.” People love to talk about betting on themselves… I lived it. Today—18 months later—I’m $350,000 greater, and I earn what I once made in an entire year within a few months. None of this would’ve been possible if I had ignored the God in me and allowed fear to keep me comfortable. Sometimes your next level requires you to leave what feels secure. REMOVING LATE PAYMENTS IS ONLY HALF THE FIGHT. 🚨 You’re focused on cleaning up your credit… but what are you doing to BUILD it? Correcting inaccurate late payments helps address the damage. Building positive payment history is the next step people miss—especially if they have very few active accounts. Here’s the play 👇🏾 ✅ Check all 3 credit reports. Dispute late payments reported incorrectly. Accurate late payments aren’t automatically removable. ✅ Consider a secured card or credit-builder loan. Check the fees, make sure the payments fit your budget, and confirm which bureaus it reports to. ✅ Keep card balances low. A bigger limit doesn’t mean you should spend more. ✅ Pay on time EVERY month. Set reminders and autopay, and keep enough money in the account to cover it. ✅ Build strategically. You don’t need five new accounts just because someone called it a “hack.” If you already have active accounts, managing those well may be your next move.
