I'm excited to announce that on 11.13.24, I quietly stepped into the role of a Chapel Director/Reverend at @MorganStateU, transitioning from 5 impactful years as a Resident Director. I didn’t share it then…because honestly, I dove straight into the work (and never stopped lol) 💼🔥

Campus ministry has been a dream of mine! After 2 decades of doing it "on the side," I now get to live out the calling, FULL-TIME at a legendary HBCU, in the historic @MSU_Chapel 💙🐻🧡

Since then, it’s been nothing short of transformative...preaching, discipling, counseling, invocations & reflecting God’s glory. Attendance/engagement is up 250%, new ecumenical faith initiatives launched, and the mission/vision has been renewed! 📈🚀

I was honored to receive 3 university awards for my work this year:
🏆 FOG of War Award: leadership in uncertain times
🏆 Northstar Award: mentorship/humility in action
🏆 Innovator of the Year Award: “Spin the Block” (outside worship services) & other creative initiatives

Humbled. Grateful for the students, colleagues and mentors who have journeyed with me thus far. This is only the beginning. Let’s keep building!

15 years later…and I’m still twirling this gorgeous woman around!

Different outfits. Different seasons. Different versions of us. But through every turn, every transition, every high and low, we KNOW we will keep finding our rhythm.

Marriage will spin you around sometimes but I’m grateful that through all of life’s twists and turns, I still get to dance through it with you AND smile!

Thankful to Jesus for keeping us, growing us, and giving us another year to keep spinning together.

Happy 15th Anniversary, babe! 💙
