This is how I’m voting, but please don’t take my word for it….

Read the full ballot language, look at who’s funding each side, and talk it through with people you trust. Some of these amendments would change our state constitution for years to come, and the wording can be confusing on purpose. Take the time to understand what a YES and a NO actually mean.

Then show up. Tuesday, November 3. Every question on this ballot will be decided by the people who vote, so make sure you’re one of them.

No AI was used in the making of this video, just a few tosses (and a couple of drops 🤭).

Real products from real local businesses, all under one roof. Sweet tea from 📍 @jssweettea and sweet treats from 📍 @blissfullydivine.llc, and plenty more to catch (hours vary by business).

Drop by 811 Retail (811 E 31st Street, Kansas City, MO 64109), where local business starts.

PHKC would be nothing without... you 🧡

It rained (literally), and you came anyway.

We tried to get everybody in the frame, but the room was too ✨ full ✨ of good people! We tagged everyone we could, including some we know we missed!

To our alumni who came back for another month of A Seat at the Table, to everyone who made it into the frame, and to everyone who didn’t: thank you for stepping out in the rain to be here. Your presence was a gift.

A special 🧡 to Mr. James Bryant (@universaltemple) for leading a conversation that reminded us taking care of our business starts with taking care of ourselves.

A special 🧡 to Ms. Shelia Johnson (a Cohort #1 alum!) with @gangstagoodieskitchen for keeping us (well) fed and the room warm.

NOVEMBER = new guest speaker | new alumni caterer | same great table

Second Alumni dinner in the books! A special shoutout to @mmm_schultz14 and @mdierqueen for pulling it all together! Chef @gangstagoodieskitchen for providing such a good meal for us, and @universaltemple for leading us in a thoughtful discussion on addressing our mental health. A seat at the table matters!
