There was a time when something like this felt a whole lot further away.

Not because I didn’t believe I could do it…
I just didn’t know exactly how.

A lot of work.
A lot of mistakes.
A lot of betting on myself.
A whole lot of days where the results didn’t match the vision yet.

And we’re STILL building. Always getting better, even when it may not feel like it.

The car is nice, but the real win is creating a life where you have more options, more freedom, and the ability to experience some of the things you once only imagined. No matter what that means to you. Because it’s different for everybody.

Don’t let somebody else’s chapter make you rush yours.

Everybody talks about the 10,000 hours it takes to master something.

And that number scares people so bad… they never get to hour ONE.

Here’s the part nobody talks about enough:

You don’t have to be a master to start creating value.

Give something 20 focused hours and you’ll probably know a whole lot more than the person who has spent the last two years “thinking about getting started.”

You can learn enough to solve a problem.
Enough to provide a service.
Enough to make your first dollar.
Enough to figure out whether this thing is even worth pursuing.

And then you keep learning.

The problem is, some people are so intimidated by the 10,000 hours…

it takes them 10 years to finally put in the first 20.

You don’t need to know everything.

You just need to know enough to take the next step.

Mastery can come later.

Start with competence. Get paid. Get better. Repeat. 💯 by @iamdavespeed

This Camry is a part of my fleet, but whenever I see one on the street I know people don’t know what they have. You see a dependable vehicle for you to drive…and it is! It’s Friday, so I’m already knowing it’s coming 😂…I’ve heard it all. But the best thing to do is have a concrete process on how you handle clients who are late. You can choose to not allow late payments at all, or you can give a grace period with a fee. Whatever you do, whatever rules you make, don’t break them! Some days in business will make you question EVERYTHING.

I’ve dealt with cars breaking down.
Cars getting wrecked.
Cars getting stolen.
Bad renters.
Renters that ran off on the plug.
Unexpected repair bills.
Deals that didn’t work.
Money going out faster than it came in.

It’s easy to start wondering if all of this is even worth it.

But sometimes you gotta look back.

Not to dwell on what happened…

but to remember what you’ve already made it through.

Every difficult season you survived built the person handling the problem you’re facing today.

So if business (or life) is beating you up a little right now, don’t automatically take that as a sign to quit.

Sometimes the struggle isn’t telling you to stop.

It’s reminding you that you’ve been here before…and you kept going then. You can do the same again.

Important lesson, your customers really don’t give a damn about your dream.

They could care less about your monthly revenue goal, your time freedom, personal life, or your vision board. They’re thinking about their problem…which is what brought them to you in the first place.

Does your car run, how much does it cost to rent, can they afford it, will somebody answer the phone when they call, can you make their life easier??

Your dream is why you started the business, but solving somebody else’s problem is what it alive. Don’t be so focused on the end result that you loose sight of what the customer actually needs. #SLS #ProfitPro by @iamdavespeed
