Hey you guys! It’s been a minute. I took some time off to get back in touch with Desarée. When you’ve been in the pursuit of your dreams for years you eventually need to press pause. I started modeling in 2009 and the journey has been a rollercoaster. In 2024 I found myself looking in the mirror and not recognizing the woman looking back at me. All the opinions of others and lies the haters told me had crept up on me.. and I started believing some of them. I had grown significantly as a woman and I never took a true break to check in with my evolution. I spent a year just focusing on Desarée and finding out what I like. I got back to living and not just walking through life waiting for my career to explode. Life is for living and i just just that, live. I reconnected with friends and family, started a business, found new hobbies and loved on me. I’m so happy to be back. Make sure you follow @whatcanisaypod and @aura.de.franchon. GRWM. Don’t forget to come back after isolation.
Sometimes isolation is necessary to get to the next season. We have to put our heads down to get to the next part. What some people forget is to come out of the isolation period. It can feel safe and comfortable. There’s no judgement from the outside when you’re by yourself. While it may be easier to stay in your bubble, the world needs you. Those creative thoughts that won’t stop are an indication of the work you need to do. Your purpose is waiting for your return. Take this as a sign.. it’s time to come back out. by @iamdesaree

A little reintroduction feels necessary. 🩷

I’ve spent a lot of time sharing pieces of my life, but I’m ready to share more of me.

The thoughts. The lessons. The random stuff in between. 😂 The things I’m working toward. The things I’m still figuring out.

I’ll be documenting my workouts, getting back into a rhythm, taking you along for the everyday moments, and just letting you into my world a little more.

2026 reminded me that I have people who love me DEEP. @jorden_bae3 asked me to come with her out to eat one last time. I had so much to pack, was overwhelmed and was two seconds from canceling on her. I always have anxiety about what to wear and this day was no exception. I threw on a dress and just said “Whatever. 🙄” Then I walked into a surprise going away party that she coordinated with @nicolegwendolyn_ 🥹. To everyone who showed up.. thank you. I absolutely ugly cried and then cried some more. 😂🤣😂 I am truly grateful for every single one of you who came out to send me off. This year taught me that sometimes your tribe is forged in a way you least expect. My heart is so full.

39. Baybeeeeee this last year tried to take me out. 🤣 After dedicating my life to helping others, I found myself in a place that forced me to receive help in ways I never imagined from people who I least expected. Asking for help has never been my strong suit and being positioned to have to learn to consistently ask was beyond difficult. However, I was reminded that there are people who love and care for me in ways I couldn’t believe. This birthday I intentionally invited people who helped get me through some of my darkest times. Some you see here. Some couldn’t make it. But they all know who they are. This rebirth has called me to face myself and understand I deserve love no matter how I show up. Those who only want to share space with me only when I’m at best now have less access. It’s not personal.. it’s just a realization and growth. I am truly grateful for this trip around the sun and am now prepared for the blessings that are about to rain In my life. Thank you God for allowing me to grow closer to you and for showing me I am enough and always have been. I’ve got my spark back and we’re not playing this year. Here’s to many more years and the takeover thats about to commence. 🤪😘 by @iamdesaree

My girls had a cheer competition and I got to finally see them perform! Cheerleading is such a tough sport and most people have no idea what goes into it. Watching my God-daughters shine brought me so much joy! They’re superstars. I got to see them show the world what they’re capable of. I need a Cheer God-Mom shirt 🤣 #cheergodmother by @iamdesaree
