What was supposed to be a quick 1-mile hike turned into 3.5 miles and me being LOST for an entire HOUR! 😭🤦🏾‍♀️

Y’all, I was SCARED! 😩 Not only was I lost, but no one around looked like me, and I was genuinely afraid someone might perceive me as a threat simply because I was wandering around trying to find my way out. 🫠

I can laugh about it now, but in that moment? Baby, I started RECORDING for evidence! 😭🤣

Special shoutout to the woman who finally helped me find my way out. But not before telling me, “I’ll show you out, but you need to keep up!” 😭🤣

Ma’am was NOT about to let my lost self mess up her hiking time! 🤦🏾‍♀️😂

Moral of the story: Sometimes the sunrise isn’t the only thing you’ll be chasing… sometimes it’s the EXIT! 😭🌄

And THIS is why you have to gatekeep your energy, protect your peace, and be intentional about who gets access to you. ♥️

When you’re a rare soul, you’ll naturally attract people who want to benefit from your light without ever pouring back into you.

But here’s the lesson, Diva: Your ability to pour into others should never come at the expense of pouring into yourself.

You can have a beautiful heart AND firm boundaries. You can be loving AND selective. You can be generous WITHOUT being accessible to everyone.

This year, I didn’t just grow. I evolved. 🦋

I experienced a transformation that felt like a butterfly finally emerging from her cocoon, stepping into a version of herself she hadn’t fully met yet, but was always destined to become. 🥹♥️

As I close out my birthday celebrations with one final dinner, I can’t help but reflect on this journey. I ATE. I PRAYED. AND I LOVED! 🥂✨

And somewhere between the experiences, the lessons, the quiet moments, and the celebrations, I found a deeper connection with myself. One that strengthened my intuition, reaffirmed my worth, and reminded me of the power of trusting the woman I’m becoming.

So, if you notice me moving differently from this point forward… I AM! And unapologetically so. 💋

Because this next chapter isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about fully embracing the woman I’ve worked so hard to become.
