A LEGACY THAT KEEPS SPINNING. 🎧🔥

Celebrating the 45 anniversary of @ranedj with @iamdjricardo and a special beatjuggling routine featuring the iconic RANE TWELVE — a true classic device built for DJs who live and breathe turntablism.

RANE, 45 years of innovation, passion, and pushing the limits of DJ performance. The legacy continues.

Four RANE mixers, four eras, one scratch session.
@iamdjricardo, @yuldj_ and @barreto_ctz scratch their way across the TTM52 MOJO, EMPATH, TTM57SL and SIXTY-TWO in this routine, over a beat from @djodilon.

The TTM52 MOJO arrived in 1998 alongside the TTM54, bringing RANE’s turntablist mixer design to a more affordable price.

The EMPATH followed in 2002, co-designed with Grandmaster Flash.

The TTM57SL was the first DJ mixer with Serato Scratch Live built in.

The SIXTY-TWO brought dual USB ports and dedicated pad and loop controls to a modern Serato-ready mixer in 2012.

Which of these did you learn to scratch on? Tell us in the comments, and share your own RANE throwbacks with #RANE45 by @iamdjricardo

The future of turntablism is in good hands.

@iamdjricardo and @thekidrc3 might be in different locations, but they’re speaking the same language behind the decks.

The skill level is one thing. What’s really exciting is seeing a new generation of DJs push turntablism forward while keeping the culture and creativity that made people fall in love with it in the first place.

These two make a pretty strong case for where things are headed next.

Performed on the RANE SYSTEM ONE. Tag a turntablist who’s doing something creative right now. 🔥 by @iamdjricardo

The pool sessions are not done yet. @iamdjricardo on the RANE SYSTEM ONE with a Freestyler remix that hits differently.

Ruler and KAAK flipping the Bomfunk MC’s classic into a breakbeat and bass music weapon, and Ricardo scratching over it poolside like it is the most natural thing in the world.

How many summer gigs do you have left? @iamdjricardo is not done yet.
Bad Bunny’s Café Con Ron acapella over a funky house beat on the RANE SYSTEM ONE, poolside, with a bit of scratching thrown in for good measure. This is how you close out the summer. by @iamdjricardo

@superhero_djs is back and I couldn’t be happier 😊. This is one of the websites that has helped me the most to improve as a DJ since I was a kid. For this new stage of their courses, I join with one of my most well-known routines, Gangnam Style x Low. Now everyone can get practicing with it! 💪🏻 taken in Madrid, Spain by @iamdjricardo

POV watching a scratch DJ get handed a live voice recording on stage. Watch what happens next...

@willy_dejota records himself into the RANE SYSTEM ONE. @iamdjricardo takes that clip and builds a scratch routine over a big beat Crystal Method track on the spot.

Exactly what this setup was built for. by @iamdjricardo
