Title: Unending Circle
Exhibited: Impacto - Brazil
Artist: Ayodeji ‘Dyvas’ Ayodele
Curator: Juliana Lauletta
Medium: Photography
Year: 2024

In “Unending Circle,” I challenge societal perceptions and biases surrounding menstruation, presenting it as a natural and beautiful aspect of womanhood. The sanitary pad, marked by a red heart, symbolizes menstrual blood in a friendly and positive light.

This photograph is a celebration of strength, and resilience. By using the heart shape to represent blood, I aim to normalize menstruation and break down the stigma that often surrounds it.

Drawing from my extensive experience in visual storytelling, this piece is part of a broader narrative that seeks to disrupt traditional norms and encourage a more inclusive and empathetic perspective. The blindfold signifies the need to truly see and appreciate the beauty and strength possible in every woman.

Few weeks ago I had the opportunity of attending the 77 Cannes International Film Festival in Cannes, France with my Team from @nollycinema_group.

I had one on one conversations with strategic experts in film from Nigeria, Malaysia, Canada, France, India, USA, Dominican Republic, London, Switzerland and many more. Some of the conversations includes but not limited to Fim Distribution and Financing.

It was such a beautiful event and city.

The assignment was to expand our content distribution catalogue for users in diaspora and present the unique investment opportunities our company @nollycinema_group has to offer been a dynamic and innovative player in the media and entertainment industry. taken in Cannes, France - French Riviera by @iamdyvas

Ayodeji Ayodele presents Omi L’eko, translating to “the water of Lagos.” This photo essay explores water as a living force that shapes identity, survival, and memory in the city.

In Lagos, water is never passive. It supports daily life, fuels creativity, and exposes deep social and environmental inequalities.

Drawing from Yoruba understandings of water as spiritual and historical, the lagoon becomes both a lifeline and a witness. It holds stories of trade, migration, resilience, and neglect. Here, water is political. It reflects who adapts, who is protected, and who is left vulnerable.

Omi L’eko invites viewers to see water not as background, but as an active presence shaping culture, creativity, and the rhythm of life in Lagos.

You can read more in the Water section on the site. Link in bio. by @iamdyvas

10km of vibes, pain, and personal growth. Mostly pain.

But we move 😄

I beat my personal record and crossed the line at 1 hour 1 minute, so I’ll take that win proudly.

I couldn’t get a medal at the end though 😩… and I was really looking forward to adding it to my archive to make it number two. @accessbanklagoscitymarathon pleaseeee can I still get it 😩🥹

My first medal is still shining from last year’s half marathon in Ikogosi Ekiti.
