This zine is a love offering. A celebration. A reckoning 🌹

VINTAGE.
Of or relating to a particular period in the past; especially something that represents the best characteristics of that period. Better known as ME.

My Mama thrifted this dress for me over 20 years ago. My first time wearing it was this past Saturday to a wedding 🥹 She also sourced this bag. Sheila, my forever stylist and a love that truly keeps on giving. I paired it with her vintage gold bracelet and my own vintage earrings + necklace.

Grace within being is realizing you don’t have to earn the right to exist as you are.

In Session 4, we talked about the grace that comes when we stop measuring ourselves only by what we produce, fix, accomplish, or become—and learn to make room for who we are right now.

Because becoming isn’t always about pushing forward.

Sometimes grace says:
Be here. Be human. Be enough for this moment.

I’ve been swooning over this A.W.A.K.E. Mode denim shirt for a while now…

The soundtrack was Twenty88’s EP, Life of Pablo, Coloring Book, + a Seat at the Table.

I was doing yoga everydamn day like my life depended on it, cause it did and I had the guns to prove it. Lol. It was also the year that I was gifted my first herbal book from my cousin and began my deep dive into herbalism and plant medicine.

Using everything including my Mama’s old tablecloths for headwraps and living in her jewelry. And using apps like instasize to make my pics fit on IG 🤣

I was fitted downnnnn in vintage and slangin it too, heyyyyyy @nostalgiasattic

Limecrime matte lippies no liner, kept me puckered 💋 lemonade braids, baby hairs and Afros.

What a time to be alive.
