💯❤️❤️❤️🙌🏾Okay, y’all, help me celebrate the woman God gave me as one of the greatest gifts of my life—my beloved, my blessing, and my GOOD THANG!!

Belinda, I’m so grateful God allows us to do life together. You have loved me in ways that healed places I didn’t know were hurting, brought peace to my heart, and given me a home I never want to live without. I’d choose you every single time.

She calls me her Chocolate Drop, and I gladly answer! She will forever be my Caramel Candy. Yes, we have a sweet thing going on—but what we share is sweeter than words.

Behind that beautiful smile is a compassionate, wise, faithful, strong woman who pours her heart into our family. She has loved, prayed for, and strengthened our children and our four grandleaders in ways that bless us all.

Many know her as Coach B Fit, helping people become healthier and stronger. I know the heart behind the title: her discipline, faith, compassion, and genuine desire to inspire change.

OK FAM! ENOUGH IS… ENUFF!

I’ve been sitting with this one for a minute because I wanted to make sure I was ready to SAY IT!

Scripture says, “I have the right to do anything… but not everything is beneficial.” — 1 Corinthians 6:12 NIV

The DMs are rolling in like a river 🌊 and the conversations are speaking LEFT and RIGHT! And keeping it 💯… it’s more irritating than flies at a picnic!

Service providers—especially the cosmetology industry, MY FOLK—I hear you!

And I started thinking… and I said to myself:

SELF!… HUH?! 👀

When did being KIND require you to become financially, emotionally or professionally irresponsible to YOURSELF?

Somewhere along the way NICE got confused with KIND. Familiarity became expectation. Expectation became entitlement. And what somebody once appreciated as EXTRA, they now act like you OWE them.

But MY FOLK… before we shout AMEN too loudly:

You cannot continually give people ACCESS and then resent them for USING IT.

🐭 Church mouse… 🦗 crickets chirping… no worries.

Because sometimes the boundary they keep crossing is THE BOUNDARY WE NEVER ESTABLISHED.

This isn’t customer-bashing or a service-provider pity party. I’m talking to BOTH SIDES OF THE CHAIR.

Morning Meditation…

During my walk this morning, I felt impressed by this thought:

Every word that comes out of your mouth builds a house you will eventually have to live in.

God framed the world with His words. As His children, our words also frame the environments we live in—physically, spiritually, mentally, and emotionally.

Here’s what challenged me…

If we’re praying and standing in faith for healing, provision, restoration, or breakthrough, why would we continue speaking words that produce energy contrary to what we believe has already been accomplished on our behalf?

Our confession should align with our faith.

We are not trying to persuade God to do something He has withheld. By faith, we align our words with what He has already made available through Christ.

Scripture doesn’t tell us to be careful; it tells us to be careful for nothing. Instead, we should be mindful—mindful that our words are constantly creating an atmosphere that either agrees with what God has spoken or contradicts what we say we believe.

Today, build wisely.

Speak life. Speak peace. Speak truth. Speak victory. Speak in agreement with Heaven.

Every word is another brick in the house you’ll one day live in.

MEMPHIS… HAS THE BEAUTY INDUSTRY LOST ITS WAY? 👀✂️

I’m asking because i’ve had many Stylist, face-to-face, as well as direct message me asking what’s going on with our industry, even from the East Coast, I’ve watched this industry SHIFT.

After 30+ successful years in the beauty industry, 8 salons, styling in different cities and states, and having the privilege of mentoring stylists and salon owners along the way, I’ve learned a lot.

But I’ve also learned this:

NOT ONE OF US IS SMARTER THAN ALL OF US TOGETHER.

Some of what I’m seeing in our industry is innovative and exciting.

But some of it? WE NEED TO TALK.

Stylists are questioning their careers. Chairs aren’t flourishing like they once did. And somewhere between chasing what’s trending and trying to keep up with the shift… we may have gotten away from some of the BASICS that built this industry.

I have a wealth of information I’m willing to share—not to grow ME, but to help grow US. And I know many of you have wisdom, experience, and creative ideas that belong in the room too.

So I’m calling the creatives to the table.
