Today makes one year since I left my job and chose to trust God and bet on myself. 🙏🏾

God told me it was time to leave, but I was scared and disobedient. I didn’t trust Him, and I had so many fears about how I would make it. That job brought me so much stress, anxiety, and frustration, and the environment had become toxic. But I knew it was time to go.

A year later, I can honestly say I have peace, freedom in my mind, and happiness. It hasn’t been easy, but I’ve learned so much about myself, built my faith, and learned to truly trust God fully!

I was even told, “This job pays for the car you just purchased.” 😂 Well… a year later, I still have my car! 🙌🏾 I have to do a story time on that😂! Y’all don’t even know the half of what I endured behind closed doors at my previous job.

And now, the things I prayed for, spoke over my life, and manifested are starting to come to pass. What I couldn’t see then, I’m beginning to understand now.

I’m thankful for the experience, the transition, the growth, and most of all, my obedience to God. I can whole heartedly say, I’m doing what I love! A year ago, I was afraid to take the leap. Today, I’m grateful I did. by @iamelijahparham

It’s my 30th Birthday 🥂🎂✨

The boy who dreamed.
The one who struggled.

The one who had to learn how to let go.
