Sam and I are hosting a tarot workshop on Tuesday 28th April at 7:15pm ✨ at @theweeretreat

If you’ve ever felt drawn to tarot, this is your space to explore it properly.
Not just memorising meanings, but actually learning how to read.

We’ll guide you through the foundations, help you build confidence, and give you a way into your own intuitive style.

And if you want to go deeper, we’ll be opening up a longer course two weeks later.

We’re genuinely so excited to share this. It’s something we’ve put a lot into, and it’s going to be a really special evening.

Tickets are still available, but they’re starting to go.

If money feels like a barrier, just message me. We mean that. We’d rather you be there.

Book via the link in bio.

After feeling really energised by the prospect of sharing i cocooned into myself for a week to move into my new flat.

Now I’m back to overshare hope you missed me xoxo by @iamemlove

This post started off as me just wanting to post a hot photo of me but I got distracted by documenting the women I’ve been andddd here we are. I’ll be hot another day. 💁‍♀️

I find social media as a medium so cathartic and fairly healing. It helps me put my life into words, to own my story and to cement the things I believe in into words and into reality.

Grateful to anyone who reads the captions, grateful to anyone who cares. And most of all, if it feels like it could be helpful for you to do it too, I’m proud of you if you try.

Not everyone wants to put their life on the internet. But.

I do ! Haha.

Love ya xoxo 💋 by @iamemlove

One thing that’s stood out to me through my sessions over the last few weeks is this overwhelming sense of fear.

And girl same.

It’s really easy to look at someone who puts themselves out there and say, wow you’re so brave and I couldn’t do that.

But I have spent so many years being terrified to do the things I’ve done.

My first solo trip I hid in the bathroom in the hostel because I was too scared to speak to anyone.

The first coaching calls I did, I couldn’t speak for an hour beforehand.

My first workshop I made myself sick before it because I was terrified.

Every time I’ve spent a chunk of money on my own growth it’s made my legs wobble.

And now I’m scared too, and that’s just the nature of it.

Living outside of your comfort zone is scary. You’d be crazy not to feel that.

But feeling the fear is all part of growth. The fear gets less, and your bravery grows.

You expand to fit a new world.

Your world expands to fit a new you.

To be scared is beautiful. And you are so brave, just to be taking a step, or two… or maybe three. by @iamemlove

There is a deep transformation stirring within us.

I see it in the collective, in society.

You are either stuck in the matrix, or you have reached a point where you know you need to get out.

If you want to stop being limited

By jobs, by money, by people, by circumstances.

Ultimately, by yourself…

If you’re ready to heal, ready to grow, ready to step into your full power, and be your most incredible self, that self you know is deep within you yelling to come out and to be in the light.

I resisted the life I was meant to live because it didn’t fit with the narrative I had for myself.

It didn’t fit with what I knew and I held too tightly onto what was safe.

When I let go, I started to see that I could have all that I dreamed of, and it would come through in new ways.

If I could tell myself one thing it would be to trust.

Trust the universe, etc etc.

But really, trust my own power.

Trust that I’m smart. Trust that I’m creative. Trust that I am TENACIOUS as fuck. And trust that I’m good and kind.

Trust that I could build the life I want because it’s mine in my dreams.

Hey, do you know what, my 31 year old self probably needs to hear this too. by @iamemlove

Casual Wednesday morning visit to the Hindu Balinese purifying water temple in Bali, famous for its holy spring water to perform a purification ritual.

OFC I cried.

Duh.

To the land that healed me.

Thank you for allowing me to take a breather from my life for a year, to look at it through a new lens. To come back stronger, lighter, freer and more myself.

To come back a different version of myself than I’d ever imagined.

When I saw my future self, I always saw her differently. And she will transform, and transform, and transform again.

Repeatedly until one day she is gone. And that will be the biggest transformation of all.

All I can do is pray that I allow her the space to be her fullest self at each moment. by @iamemlove

Some everyday sweetness of life from last year in Ubud.

Sweet moments with sweet animals and sweet people.

I’m actually SO honoured to have trained in yoga in India’s sacred city. (These are photos from my fire ceremony, a purification and offering to the divine fire, the “self of all”)

To have meditated where so many have meditated for so many thousands of years.

For a long time I felt I needed to make spirituality my identity, because it felt so important to me, because it felt so outside of the norm in western culture, that in order to be spiritual, I felt like I needed to shun everything else normal.

I stopped wearing makeup, buying new clothes. I stopped consuming media that wasn’t what I deemed to be “for my highest good.” I meditated every day, and did yoga too. I trained as a holistic coach. I chanted. I did somatic movement. I joined communities and groups, I read everything I could about it and I felt AMAZING…

BUT…

But.

I felt like I was outside society.

I eventually quit my job because I felt too misaligned from the people that I spend my days with.

I didn’t feel beautiful without makeup, in a society where beauty felt so tied to a series of consumptions, of products and procedures and my self esteem took a hit. I missed being creative in my self expression.

I didn’t relate to my friends in the ways I used to, and that left me feeling so lonely.

So many people warn you that when you walk a spiritual path you lose a lot of people along the way, and that was definitely true for me, but I don’t think it needs to be that way.

It’s not one or the other - a spiritual life or a normal one.

We get to pick and choose and create our own recipes for a good life. With the rituals and experiences that feel right for us.

I wish I’d known that at the time. by @iamemlove

Another little pocket of the world with people existing in it.

And I was there too, for a moment. by @iamemlove
