& 3 years, 75 flights, and 8 pull ups later, i’ve officially graduated with highest honors from @georgiatech with my b.s. in public policy & a minor in global development!👩🏾‍🎓

time truly flies when you’re having fun! i’m so thankful for every second of my time here, where i’ve been able to travel the world, meet my best friends through @gthonors & @sppgatech, & grow my nonprofit @joinnest by connecting what i’ve learned in the @ivanallencollege with communities worldwide. ⚖️

so much hard work & dedication led up to this moment, but, of course, i couldn’t have done it alone. thank you to the @cameronimpactscholarship for the full-ride undergrad scholarship & family of scholars that changed my life. thank you to all my friends & professors who made the flats feel like home. and most importantly, thank you to my family for everything. i would not be here today without your sacrifices & support. you taught me how what we learn means nothing if we don’t use those lessons in service to others, & i’ve strived to live by that motto throughout college & beyond!

while my undergrad journey has come to an end, my georgia tech story, thankfully, continues…i 🫶🏽 this school so much, so i’ve decided to stay here one more year to complete my master’s in public policy, fully covered by the @gatechstamps scholarship! blessed is the understatement of the year. see you all next year for grad pt. 2! 🥳

none of this happens alone—NEST4US, even 10 years in, is & always will be rooted in the people from all walks of life who show up, believe in the mission, and choose to care. every. single. day. i’m endlessly grateful for everyone who has poured into @joinnest & trusted the vision. this moment belongs to all of us!! p.s. from getting ready for our first fancy gala invite all those years ago in e.l.f. products to still using them now…full circle moment fr 🥹

& new york has become my second home!🗽grateful to have met some amazing youth nonprofit founders & have the chance to reflect on spending half of my life!!!! co-running @joinnest while speaking on the “half a life of impact” panel at my second @triibe__talk next gen summit in a city that has my whole 🫀!

still can’t believe it’s been that long (10??!!!! years), it feels like just yesterday when we started as just two sisters, @iamshreyaavenkat & i, with a dream at 13 & 10 years old.

now, i’ve gotten the privilege to travel to over half of the U.S. states & almost 40 countries, speaking at summits like these, serving alongside our amazing global chapters, & meeting the most amazing people! i couldn’t be prouder of the NEST we’ve built & couldn’t be more nostalgic thinking back to all of the memories (and flight horror stories). 💖

my family likes to say, more than thankful, we are blessed. blessed to be able to do what we do & blessed to be able to give what we can, especially to the next generation. all love, always 💝 taken in New York by @iameshavenkat

shreyaa, i am the luckiest girl in the world to be your sister, because how lucky am i to have never known a world without you in it! there is no me without you & i wouldn’t want it any other way! 🥹

ik y’all are used to seeing our perfect selfies, but these are some of my favorite photos of us. the ones where we were in transit waiting for our planes and trains to take off, gossiping like crazy on facetime, singing loudly in the car on the way to the grocery store, eating the most basic dinner together while battling the stomach bug, getting caught in the rain a million times during distributions, lugging our giant suitcases through every street, or just sitting around together on a completely normal day.

of course i love our big moments, all of the trips, the celebrations, the adventures, the milestones. but i think there is nothing more special than having a person in your life who makes even the in-between moments full of love & joy. you make waiting around fun, a random tuesday feel like the best part of the week, & the most ordinary parts of life worth celebrating.🕺

through every place we’ve been, every dream we’ve chased, every big moment, every laugh, every argument, & every phase of life, it has always been u + me. & i think my favorite part of life is knowing it will always be u + me in the truest sense of the words. 🫶🏽

to many more years of my head on your shoulder, mouths open in every photo, & making memories out of absolutely nothing every single day, that become absolutely everything.

i listened to the wise words of pitbull & DIDN’T STOP THE PARTY!! 💃 every single day was a celebration & i’m so grateful to everyone who made my birthday week so special, from ➡️

losing my voice (literally, real ones know) at volleyball games (my goats hit that cleannnnn sweep vs. VT & UVA (sorry to my virginians)) 🏐

80+ of my friends & fam making me a whole playlist & slideshow of songs that remind them of me…i cried like 7 times watching it, it was SO SWEET!!! 😭 music is fr my love language thank u @iamshreyaavenkat & @sirracha.cha for the brilliant execution and for all those who sent in songs!!

Our COO @iameshavenkat had the wonderful honor of speaking at the @peacecorpsconnect Conference with the National Peace Corps Association on “Reimagining Career Pathways” in front of a room filled with hundreds of Returned Peace Corps Volunteers, service leaders, students, and global changemakers who have spent their lives asking what it means to serve well.

As conversations around AI, workforce transformation, and career uncertainty grow louder by the day, the panel focused around an important question: What skills will continue to matter, no matter how much the world of work changes? 🌎

For us at NEST4US, service offers a powerful answer. It teaches us how to build trust, navigate complexity, lead across differences, adapt when circumstances change, and solve real-world problems that rarely come with a clear roadmap.

We’ve been privileged over the past ten years to see firsthand how creating opportunities for people to serve can also create opportunities for them to grow as leaders, collaborators, problem-solvers, and changemakers. Service doesn’t just prepare us to make an impact today; it can shape how we show up in every role that follows.

Esha left Peace Corps Connect feeling even more energized by the people who continue to show that service can shape not only the communities we serve, but also the leaders we become. Thank you to the National Peace Corps Association for the invitation and opportunity to share our story, and to everyone at Peace Corps Connect who shared their own inspirational stories of service throughout the event! 💜
