I am truly overwhelmed by the love, encouragement, and support everyone has shown for We Are East End: The First Barrio. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

To my East End community, I want to make you one promise:

This is our documentary.

I have an incredible production team beside me, and during this pre-production phase we are working diligently—researching, gathering history, conducting interviews, and making sure we honor our community’s story with the respect it deserves.
Very soon, we will announce a date and invite everyone to join us for an in-person community gathering right here in the East End. We want to share our vision, discuss our plans, answer questions, and most importantly, hear from you.
If you have old photographs, family stories, home movies, newspaper clippings, business memorabilia, or historical archives that help tell the story of our community, we would be honored to consider them for inclusion in the documentary.
If you’d like to be part of preserving our history, stay tuned for the upcoming announcement.
Because there’s only one place this gathering belongs…

East End.

Thank you to my amazing production team, my city, and most of all…

Mi gente del East End. ❤️

Together, we’re preserving our history for generations to come.

Our History. Our Culture. Our Home. 🚨 This poster was created for engagement purposes only, the official has not been released yet 🚨 taken in East End, Houston by @iamfilmguy
