Today, July 12th 2025, my Barry gained his wings after one year and a half with me.
.
After finding out early on that he had FIV (feline HIV) and CKD (chronic kidney disease), my goal was to make sure he had EVERYTHING he needed to live his best remaining years, and hear that he was loved at every possible moment!
.
I always thought he was young but turned out he was between 12 to 15 years old, seeing as he only had 3 teeth and his coat was usually a little more scruffy looking.
.
Probably the most amazing thing was seeing his coat change colour, his patterns come through and his playful spirit show, as time went by and he knew love.
.
But knowing of his illnesses and conditions, I also planned to make sure that when his time would inevitably come, it would be as peaceful, pain free and and as comfortable as can be.
.
I can say that all of those goals were met with the final one with his passing, today.
.
He passed away in his home, warm, comfortable and knowing he was loved.
.
From a scruffy hungry cat on the street, to having a loving home full of all that he needed, to being known by so many in different countries and having wonderful people taking care of him in veterinary hospitals when sick.
.
So much more to say but the most important is that my Boy was known and loved.
.
.
Barrington "Barry" White Barrientos!
I love you my Boy!
Always.
❤🌈

- Today, I'm making mid/long term goals on learning and practising new music. Starting off with Rachmannifof Concert 2. I want to be better at piano but also at music as a whole. Practise, practise, practise..
.
The first few bars/chords of this piece are nuts! Definitely feeling the stretch on this. This is the gym for your hands and fingers!

- Currently on 4 months of change and recentering. Fight to regain control over the Mind and the Body will follow.
The mental clarity that follows is truly a thing of beauty. ❤️
